Close session readout. During closed session, the board took action to approve the superintendent's recommendation. to appoint Dr. Esther Tamanaha to the position of Director of Early and Expanded Learning, effective July 1, 2026, at step four of the management team's salary schedule. And I's being Olson, Wilson, Ayala Quintero, and Rendler, and one absent, Hallahan.

It has been such an honor to serve as a principal at Bryn Mawr, and it is such a privilege to continue to serve this beautiful community of Redlands as a director. So thank you so much for this opportunity, and I look forward to learning and growing more alongside you. So thank you so much. Congratulations on your new assignment.
During closed session, the board took action with a three to one vote. I'm sorry, to approve, to postpone the, to, I'm sorry, to approve the extension of of the pending expulsion hearing for student 2025-2026-0501, with the ayes being Olson, Wilson, and Rendler, and the no being Ayala Quintero and Hollihan absent. Time for public comments. Community input for agendized items. Members of the public may address the board on matters within its jurisdiction by submitting a completed registration card to the clerk or designated staff member prior to the start of public comment on agenda items. When called, the speakers may proceed to the podium, state their name and trustee area, and speak for the allotted time. The amount of time will be announced by the board president before the first speaker begins and will not exceed three minutes.
