Substitute and short-term employees will be paid from the following salary schedule:

Substitute and short-term employees may be paid at a higher rate, if it is determined by the Superintendent/designee that training and experience justifies such placement or when unusual recruitment conditions prevail.  Retirees of Redlands Unified School District who substitute in Class I, II, or III in a long-term assignment (20 or more days) in the same classification they served in when employed as a regular classified employee shall be paid at Step A, of the range as defined in Appendix A-2 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.  In no case shall salary placement be higher than Step A, of the range of a regular classified employee in the same or comparable position.
