do they have a lot of hours that they've been putting in but I know that you have probably been putting in a lot of hours so we appreciate you isn't just as much so thank you so much for being here I like to thank you and I knew you for years years ago and you have not changed
and and all of our parents coming here and supporting this music program such a good thing for our children this is what I had missed when I was growing up so thank you for bringing this opportunity for us but also there's ants parents and a husband in the back though the parents can you please stand up yes let's give
them a big hand throughout the years beam and pick they have been always there for their daughter as you guys are here for your children so thank you we're truly blessed thank you I don't think we're okay well unless you want to tear them down so that you can leave this actually yeah yes I'm sorry I didn't think about that
part of it now go ahead and down we'll take a break hey getting back to business we are at comments from our student representative Jonah good evening the chino hills' high school dance team will have a junior dance day on December 2nd that's a Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and basically what this is we teach
kids ages 5 to 15 just simple dance routines and they have fun throughout the day it is $45 at the door then the following day December 3rd on a Sunday at 6 p.m. the dance team will host a preview show and this is where the kids will perform their routines that they learned along with other teams around the community and the
high school dance team and that concludes my comments great thank you your dance team is wonderful very talented ok so we are now at comments from employee representatives and today we're starting off with the event Farley champion oh there you are good evening I would like to begin by thanking all those who involve with the organizing and planning of the state of the
district event this is a perfect example of the CV USD community coming together and showcasing the exceptional talents of our students so thank you I would also like to thank our champ members who attended the axe' region 12 Women's Leadership Network on Monday night it was held in Ontario and it was very well attended the program included dr. Lisa
Gonzales acts the president and assistant superintendent of ed services from Dublin Unified School District who spoke on pathways to leadership we had a kima Davies McNeill from Stanford University speaking on healthy life skills and the event was also supported and sponsored by Franklin Covey and scoffers Federal Credit Union in summary the worship the workshop asked participants to examine the following
what roles do we take on what are those things that you have put on hold and what are the ascent show the essentials of well-being it explored the importance of keeping a well-balanced lifestyle by focusing on three things being mindful showing gratitude and the importance of keeping physically healthy by incorporating exercise and with those three things saying this will obviously lead you into
becoming the leader that you'd like to be and being there for the people that you need to serve if you missed it they're hosting another one on May 7th and it will be another Women's Network sponsored by AXA region 12 and in case you're wondering men are also invited so we'd like to see more of our district
attempt I would like to end with the opportunity to thank my fellow management champ members for your leadership your wisdom and support that you have given to our district for many of us this is this time of looking forward to breaking bread with family and friends sharing a meal and having deep or light conversation we find comfort during this time we feel safe
and we're also in a good place but we know that there are many who struggle during this time I have to say though our CV USD family has always been there to show their support and to provide what our community needs I am grateful to our organization for always displaying a helping hand and a grateful heart and so as a reminder to those who
may feel a little heavy during this time I leave you with the quote from Meredith Grey of Grey's Anatomy mmm maybe we're not supposed to be happy maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy maybe we're just maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is appreciating small victories admiring our struggles and know that it just means we're simply
human maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we No and maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know and at the end the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate hmm so to RCV us d team celebrate because you are still standing enjoy your holiday thank you thank you next we have Steve ball Macy
team well first I want to thank mr. Joseph for joining me this afternoon at AC T's annual superintendent luncheons we were both well behaved next year dr. Enfield you're up I trusted the board members have received their invitations for next month's board dinner I hope you can each attend and allow us to honor you in that way and
speaking of honors this was a good week for teachers last Thursday at the old schoolhouse Museum Assemblymember Freddy Rodriguez who represents the 52nd district which includes Chino named a Teacher of the Year for each of his school districts and from CBUs D mr. Rodriguez recognized Michelle Armijo as Teacher of the Year for those of you who don't know Michelle she is a very
special special edie teacher at Ramona junior high it was an honor to be there with Michelle and her family to see her recognized in that way just a couple hours later I attended the Chino Valley Lions Club along with mr. Hackney and mr. McAfee to see six of our teachers receive grants and if I may they are Nura at Davis who was awarded
between four and five hundred dollars to buy the play Willy Wonka kids a musical Patrick Lindsey science teacher at Woodcrest was awarded two hundred ninety nine dollars to buy a memmio pad which gives his students another piece of technology to interact with the material Jennifer Marin a country spring special edie teacher was awarded two hundred seventy seven dollars to purchase
sensory items for her students with autism Oakridge music teacher you're gonna love this one Karen toon was awarded five hundred dollars to buy ukuleles to start a ukulele player oh right and lastly Patricia Schulz and law wrestler are splitting a five hundred dollar grant to replace books in their classroom library that they refer to as well-loved so congratulations to those
teachers and thanks again to the lions club I think they said this was the first year that they gave teacher grants yes and they received over 50 proposals so as our teachers continue to reach out to the community through our roadway adoption and the food drive that we concluded today the toy drive that we'll be doing this next month it's wonderful
to see the community recognize and honor them back and last I was asked if I could give an update on bargaining at our last meeting I reported the bargaining was progressing and that I was optimistic for a resolution and since that meeting we have met one more time the teams have met one more time and they are closer still I don't mean
that emotionally but it's good and I am still optimistic so I'd like to thank the board for remaining involved and informed of our progress I know you have serious decisions to make I know that the future is uncertain but then again it always is but I also know that this board has never made an investment in their
employees that they've come to regret and so I said I was optimistic I'll thank you in advance for another wise investment and with that Happy Thanksgiving thank you [Music] so CSEA I know Denise is feeling under the weather we have Danny Hernandez who is speaking in our place thank you good evening president Roscoe board members cabinet and superintendent
Joseph I'm here today to give a special thank you to mr. Joseph today we had a blood drive livestream was here mr. Joseph allowed the district to be utilized to facilitate that there were a lot of different people that came together to make this happen a lot of people to mention but a few obviously mr. Joseph Craig frame our
director of risk management was a tremendous help also Mia sodaro over in transportation she helped utilize her area to bring in the trucks we had over twenty three pints of blood donated today and possibly saving 70 lives and it's in doing so I also wanted to bring you the wishes of Hector Ortiz with lifestream and his team he wanted

Joseph rest the board members and administrative staff what about that chino hills'
townsend junior high huh yeah I think we can do better than that they're not gonna be nicely done we're still here as Ann had mentioned want to announce that our council meeting on December 12th the tone choir total bar choir will be there again for about the sixth or seventh time that we've had them there always a big hit and if you
think they were good tonight wait until you hear them play some of the classic Christmas carols it's unbelievable so remember seven o'clock December 12th it's the second Tuesday of the month be sure to come December 2nd or 2nd coming up we have the tree lighting at City Hall it'll be from 5:00 to 8:00 the lighting will actually happen at 6:15
followed by a visit from Santa it usually comes in on a fire truck so if you're in the area and you'd like to see our beautiful tree in the atrium area of City Hall lit up be sure to come on by we also you know not too many people realize that we must have this huge lake or something in the city of Keene Hills
because we always have a boat parade anybody seen the book right people think we're crazy but people decorate their boats attached to trigger on trailers and haul them down Peyton Drive and that's going to happen this year on December 15th at 7 p.m. another great thing to announce is that Chino Hills was just named to the top
100 best cities to raise kids and this is been going on this survey goes on annually and we're very very proud of the fact that chino hills' has that type of reputation nationally so just wanted to thank everybody that's out there say a shout out to my fellow veterans for the past weekend that we celebrated Veterans Day I think the
nation is getting more and more thankful for all of the the fact that many gave some and some gave all and freedom is not free so just you know keep that in mind and if you see a veteran be sure to thank them I know that I personally I'm almost bought the tears anytime somebody comes up and and thanks me for my
service in Vietnam and the people are in uniform right now these guys are doing multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan you cannot believe especially this time of the year Thanksgiving is one thing but when Christmas rolls around it's a very tough time to be away from your family and the family at home suffers the GI suffer emotionally and it's a time to keep them
in your prayers so please do that and with Thanksgiving coming up next week I want to wish each and every one of you a very happy Thanksgiving and keep in mind what the real spirit is to be very thankful for everything that we are blessed with and if you know there's tons of groups around hope helping our
people every day and food drives and everything that go on in our communities that are backed by a lot of the local churches if you can reach out and try and help somebody else because it's so important this time of the year to share the wealth and to pay it forward and to to help others in need because it's it's
a tough time to be in need so take care of happy birth happy birthday but Happy Thanksgiving god bless thank you next we have Paul Rodriguez Chino City Council good evening this week I attended the state of the school district event at Chino Hills High School and I wanted to commend the entire district for a job well done

audience on items not on the agenda and other one okay so mr. not speaker so you have three minutes to make your comments please begin your comments at the green light the yellow light indicates you have 30 seconds and the red light indicates your time is over and before you begin your comments adjust the microphone so you can be
heard clearly and audience members please refrain from making comments while speakers are at the podium and it is disrespectful and disruptive the first speaker is Bob basil president superintendent board members and guests thank you schools can provide a tremendous value guiding students and their families as they seek higher academic performance and potentially earn scholarships at various higher education institutions
I've prepared a presentation on how to how to get a higher education and the realities of paying for it I prepared this and as an additional value that the schools of CSU SD could CV USD could provide it's a program that complements the district's commitment to helping students pursue their goals of higher education while positioning high schools
as leaders in helping students pursue a higher education I discussed the values of education in today's higher education the processes involved in applying and the realities of paying for it in a 45-minute presentation I also show families the difference between need merit unique ability and sports scholarships as well as what qualifies students to make the most of these
opportunities this is an educational presentation and is offered at no cost to the school or to the students families the topics discussed have been provided for you in sheets provided I wanted to make the program that was centered on helping and educating families first conveying the information important to families in making an informed decision the best school to go to for education
merit without cost being a factor this presentation has been used by schools and nonprofits in Santa Clarita Burbank Laverne Redlands Bakersfield and Beverly Hills it has also been used by 26 schools in the financial education program of the Clark County School District of Las Vegas I provide complimentary no obligation consultation to families seeking clarification for their personal
found financial situations and how it could affect their funding for higher education I don't come necessarily tonight for an endorsement from the board but for guidance in seeking appropriate contacts within the school district to spread the value of this presentation thank you for your time thank you we are now at changes and deletions pet are there any changes or
deletions the following changes are on the agenda business services item 3b to page 26 is yellow shaded and the I is item 3 c1 page 33 is yellow shaded ok thank you we are now at action items can you please announce the action item item 2 a1 nominations for CSP a delegate assembly and that is to recommend the
Board of Education nominate up to nine candidates to the California School Boards Association delegate assembly are there any speakers no speakers so board members this is an opportunity for the board to nominate any of the individuals that are listed in the agenda I can tell you that I've worked with all of them and they are all worthy
of being back on the assembly so moved second so it's been moved in second to the entire slate correct the entire slate is moved and second any comments or questions all in favor aye preferential I'm sorry I didn't even asked if anybody was opposed I'm assuming not okay motion passes five-0 we are now at consent items Pat are there any speakers
on the consent items none okay so board members do you have any pulls mr. crews no this is Blair no I do not but before we approve we can still make a brief comment about an item right even if we're not pulling it we've always made it like an enduring or closing comments is when I make them with a consent item
okay okay I'll do that okay no mr. not I have no clothes mrs. Sykes 3 C 3 page 38 and I have no polls for the remainder of the consent calendar may have emotional move may have a second second mr. Nam makes motion mrs. Blair seconds all in favor aye opposed referential motion passes 5 0 item 3 C 3 page 38 may have a
motion so moved mr. no Mixon motion second this is Blair seconds mrs. Sykes so my question is for dr. anvil on the goals that we have we're changing I imagine because of the abandonment of No Child Left Behind and re-imagining of what's to come my question is why are the goals so nonspecific okay let me go through when
we look at the strategic plan the the original strategic plan was developed with community input a lot of stakeholders that went through that process and and every time that the strategic plan has has come up with it for every three years and every three years we take a look at the vision the mission the core values and that has stood the test of
time because when you look at those those really do define who we are who we currently are and where we want to go with our students but when you look at the goals as you notice those need to be updated every three years then when we look at our local control accountability plan which we call the El Cap in that we
again it's a document that we have to create and we work with our stakeholders parent groups student input and staff input in the creation of the El Cap and in the El Cap we a diet we identified these three goals and we looked at doesn't it make sense to move these three goals into our strategic plan because we put the strategic plan the
vision the mission the core values are currently in our El Cap and so for alignment purposes and for system alignment we said hey it makes sense to use the El Cap goals for our new strategic plan goals so now we have a system alignment and then the nice part about this is every year several times during the year we report out to the
board and we do port Board presentations on how are we meeting those goals and so looking those goals may look general but when you look into the El Cap there are measurable metrics for those goals in their actions and services and so we report to the board how are we doing through those measurable goals and those actions and services and so you'll get
three updates the first update you will get will be this December will be our first update on the El Cap goals which we hope tonight will become our strategic goals okay it's funny you ask that question because I actually contacted dr. Anfield and asked him are these in our ALP cap because they seem so broad and he actually gave me the
specific page numbers as to where I could find them so I did have some questions on that thank you okay are there any other comments or questions seen none all in favor aye opposed preferential motion passes 5-0 we are now at information items are there any questions or comments on information items I don't see any lights going on so
that moves us straight to communications we are now in communications mr. Cruz thank you I attended the robotics event we can half ago and I received an email from a parent that is really involved in the robotics I'll just read I'll read her email thank you for taking the time to visit us during our first annual vex competition
of Don local high school as a parent of an avid competitor I am passionate about supporting events that format the academic growth of my daughter and her teammates my daughter is a freshman and is a superb athlete due to a sustained injury she was in a burly place in a robotic class when cleared to continue her education
fast-forward Xtreme to now and and my once non-academic daughter has found a passion for engineering her entire curriculum has changed since then and she discovered that her athletic abilities paired well with her robotics skills being exposed to stem which includes robotic classes are of utmost importance the future of my daughter and all her teammates are brighter with
unlimited possibilities these programs teach lifelong skills that can't be taught in a class or a field it is imperative that the district support programs that involve stem so more students might find and be exposed to a new future with stem it is a very well it is a valuable activity the kids are doing but it is growing tremendously so
it is a very good program especially in these times technology oh and and also I want to give a special shout-out to thanks Tyrone Brendon Ducko for going above and beyond to assure the state of the district event was a grand success let me tell you it was truly wonderful the musical performance from out students were from out students were
nothing short of Grammy performances the food was finger-licking good my goodness I could go on job well done to Brenda and the students superb very superb and I have to with your speech that you they you stated where you stated our students is the heart of our district and that is what motivates each and every one of us to do the best we
can for them and prepare for them as the Future Leaders every parent and every leader believes in that and I believe that a hundred percent that it is all aspects of our children and well set on that part thank you Thank You mr. Cruz and another note another note parents I want to remind you that with a variety of surveys our
children are asked to take please remember that you have the choice to opt out of any survey you find an appropriate intrusive or explicit of materials in particular surveys asking questions about sexual activity lifestyle choices or even parental habits for me as a parent I'm all for being involved in my child's education but I'm very uncomfortable the surveys
that read as though our homes lives our private homes are being analyzed and measured but not against what an ideology that might not be mine anyway parents please be aware and be diligent about allowing your child to participate in these surveys and also a real quick note I thought this was very interesting part of the tax reform from the Senate
is including a specific definition of the unborn children the eligibility for a college saving account I thought that was very interesting thank you Thank You mr. Cruz this is Blair yes so I I wanted to start off with one of the items we just approved in in the consent calendar and it was regarding the political processes and the political
activities policies and so I wanted to commend staff and AC T for taking as much time as was necessary to finally come to something that both sides could agree on that's what we're supposed to do we're not supposed to force something upon anyone without having a full discussion about the dues or the impact that it can have on our employees so I
want to thank both sides for reaching a happy medium so appreciate you both I want to thank dr. infilled for your expeditious research regarding my request regarding the aries app to be accessible to administrators I learned through the injury of a football player at one of our games that one of our surrounding high schools the administrator was immediately able to
access the app from his phone to contact the parents of the injured player our administrators don't have that they would have had to go to a laptop or unless they I don't know if they can put it on their phone but you know they would have to access email to be able to find all that information so the fact
that we are now moving toward having the app is very beneficial and also providing access to grades to our students I believe is moving along there been some hiccups but our students should be able to access their own grades they shouldn't have to go through the Parent Portal to obtain that information so we're moving along on those and and I
really do appreciate that you looked into that promptly thank you a few years ago I advocated for the restoration of minutes to recess and/or lunch at the elementary school level and after much discussion with Miss Beryl Berg at that time she finally conceded and minutes were restored well now I have a high schooler and the high schooler has friends who have shared
that 30 minutes for lunch at the high school level is not sufficient time to purchase a meal with the long lines so I did my research surrounding school districts have two lunch periods we may not you know move toward that but I do want I did find a letter the California Department of Education I believe it it was Tom Torlakson
in 2013 sent a letter to all school leaders that indicated as educators we know that students perform best academically when well nourished it is essential that they consume nutritious meals to assist in meeting their physical social and emotional needs eating habits form during childhood impact health patterns into adulthood yet often students do not have adequate time to eat a healthy lunch I urge you
to ensure that students have sufficient time at the lunch tables to finish their meals the letter goes on to indicate that the recommendation from the California Department of Education is that each student have no less than 10 minutes for breakfast and no less than 20 minutes for lunch after being served the letter continues to say that children who participate in the lunch
program it is critical that we do everything we can to make it easy for students to purchase and eat a school lunch waiting in line is the most commonly reported factor contributing to student dissatisfied action went with lunches when they do not have enough time to consume a complete lunch students tend to throw away a large portion of the meal or buy
snacks or skip lunch entirely as a result they are not ready to focus on their afternoon education research consistently shows that hungry students cannot learn and ensuring that students have enough time to eat a nutritious meal promotes academic achievement the letter continues each school has unique characteristics we recognize the difficulty in lengthening the amount of time students have to sit and eat lunch
when considering costs workload and mandated instructional time but CDE staff is working to identify a variety of ways that schools can schools can successfully address adequate time to eat while preserving instructional minutes in the letter they have an attachment and they provide tips and strategies one of them is make sure that students get a full lunch period so they
can finish their meal so my question to staff is what does a full lunch period mean because to me a period should be then the same amount of time that they are in a classroom which is more than 30 minutes so I'd like to know how we interpret what a full lunch period means they also recommend forming a team of
students parents teachers food service staff and school site leaders to consider how to make lunchtime work better assess the meal time what is working how can you build on that how much time is spent in line how much time do students have to get to the front of the line identify the points of gridlock and research to address and determine
whether they are at least receiving 20 minutes to consume lunch they also suggest adding food carts providing extra service lines staggering lunch so that they overlap in order to serve students more quickly and provide them with more time to eat their lunch reduced wait time in line can increase participation patient in the meal program and provides for better academic achievement so I
used my social media page to garner input from parents and I know Kenyon Hills Junior High has to lunch periods and they indicate it's still not sufficient time even at the junior high level so I can't imagine that even with 30 minutes of - staggered lunches at a high school level that that would be sufficient to provide our students 20
minutes to sit down and eat their meals so I would like to begin a conversation about this perhaps we can begin by providing additional meal cards to our junior high schools and our high schools as a start and then determine from our school site leaders as to whether that is providing positive results Jonah I want to reach
out to you as our student rep and engage the students at the high school level ask them for ideas ask them if they're even consuming lunch because I most of the responses are that they aren't eating lunch at all they're just skipping lunch so I'd like your input as well so that's all I have let us enjoy
our time off next week and be reminded of all that is great in our lives good night Thank You mrs. Blair we have mr. Nam yesterday the news had spread among our students in high schools and junior high were kids winning tears literally because one of our best teacher had passed away his name is Dan Phil stat at
Road Elementary School he has serving students for many many years despite of these disabilities and fighting with all these physical diseases but his mind was always clear does always focus on the children and kids felt it and they're in high school but they weren't in tears when Yvette Valley talked about gratitude in this season Thanksgiving we really have
to give thanks to everything the things that we have those things that we don't have even those families that are not perfect even our lives that are not perfect find gratitude because in the end even those bad memories among those bad memories you'll find good things in this life and think and be focused and when you stand on the the
right principle there shall be no regret for the past and there shall be no fear for the future we have many people involved even those Lions Club members who's donating grants to our teachers do you guys know how they raise funds especially I use in the back you guys needs to listen I would see them in the
night time freezing weather selling ice cream they have a ice cream truck and you would have five six people selling ice cream to everyone and they'll raise funds and and only to help yes I'd use no teachers what an awesome people that we have and this is where you guys become next dot that would care for others I have a great IB visa
substitute print teacher because I have never asked him specific question as what he's doing but I will always see him in each campuses and almost different campuses as I walk on and and and surveying can I have used to end up I I believe yourselves a teacher yes I'd like to thank you on this but you have done substitution yes
awesome okay thank you so much thank you [Applause] yes so there are some teachers and and then my regular teachers they really do care for each one of you so I like to thank then first s family I believe his wife is he working with us in a secretarial position here and I'd like to ask president Roscoe's to an hour
meeting meeting in memories of his servitude for multi-turret our schools thank you thank you mr. Nam this is spikes I too attended the Robotics Competition at Don Lugo we must have been at different times I didn't see you but it was very impressive and fun to see the students participate in this competition and it really struck me
the power of one the power of one individual to make a difference as I understand it there's a teacher at canyon hills that started the Robotics Club at Cannon Hills and I don't know if it was last year of the year before but we had quite a bill when they went to the national competition mmm apparently one of his ninth graders went to Don
logo and now Don Lugo has a robotics team a bunch of them went to Ayala and now Ayala has a robotics team coming forth with the efforts of one person the the day at Don Lugo was remarkable in the there was a parent organizer who introduced me to several people the referee was an English teacher not not
from the science department from the English department who has plenty - I will tell you as a former English teacher besides a helping referee this kind of competition it was glorious to see all the time that was dedicated to the success of these children so in addition the power of one mr. Roscoe I have nothing but admiration and thanks
for all your efforts on behalf of our state of the district to highlight our students which of course should go without saying is our focus but sometimes they get lost so I really appreciate it and with that I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving thank you the holiday season will soon be brighter for a hundred of our students
as they participate in the annual make a child's smile event on December 6 sponsored by the Chino Valley Fire Foundation the event provides the students with a shopping spree at Walmart in Chino as well as photos with Santa lunch and crafts thank you to all who volunteered to provide sponsorships for this worthy event congratulations to the Briggs fundamental school team that
won first place overall and three other awards at the San Bernardino County Rube Goldberg machine making competition on November 4th in San Bernardino the win has qualified them for the Rube Goldberg national competition to be held in April in Chicago Rube Goldberg machines are known for doing a simple task in an indirect convoluted way that requires omit many steps the nomination period is
open for Tino Valley Unified School District's annual Richard gird educational Hall of Fame that honors alumni former employees and organizations are individuals that have significantly helped the district check out the district's website and Facebook page for links to the nomination forms deadline is December 31st 2017 the winners will be honored at the CPU SD employee retirement and recognition
dinner to be held in May and finally the state of the district my last one as an employee was magnificent a lot of kudos have to go - I need Paris who was trying to put things together while she was on jury duty and rended uncle who was the boots on the ground to make things happen that day mrs. Roscoe
you were magnificent as usual and it was a very classy and refined event and it made me once again proud for all of my years that I didn't hear at Chino Valley Unified School District so it was a nice way to go out Thank You mr. Joseph nobody mentioned the Chino music festival which I think mr. Joseph should
mention he's modest and they had a special dedication so I'm gonna let you tell about that mr. Joseph if you would please the Chino Invitational is held every year and has been held for the past 40 some odd years and it includes bands for all from all over the area and it was a surprise to me when I went
because I go every year I've been going since 1999 when I was principal Chino high school and I went to and when I went this year they gave me the program and when you opened the program the first page was dedicated the invitation it was dedicated to me so it was it was very humbling and it was very nice thank

joke they I mean you've got to do all these this has to drop and hit that and all these you have to I don't even know what they're called the things that they have to do but it is no joke and I had the opportunity to see a little snippet of the video of what they did maybe
sometime next year after their April performance we could see the little snippet but it it was amazing so congratulations to them as I was looking through my notes I came across something that I read last year and I just you know giving given that it's Thanksgiving and I just wanted to go ahead and and read it again and it's the deeper you go
all people have real reasons for believing what they believe or feeling what they feel your best strategy is to understand those reasons if you want to find common ground you have to do more than just advocate your own position you have to listen understand empathize compromise drama and outrage are the junk-food of human relationships there are empty calories quickly satisfied but
provide no lasting nourishment understand and cooperation are difficult time-consuming demanding and humbling yet they are they are what produce real progress problems are not solved by shouting blaming judgment and recrimination choose instead to take a deep breath let go of anxieties and get to work creating value no matter how much you differ with someone on the surface the deeper you go the more
you'll find in common do the work spend the time care enough to create deep connections and get great things done which I think here at Chino Valley Unified School District we're getting great things done and that's by Ralph Marsden the daily motivator and with that I just say that we reflect give thanks and Happy Thanksgiving with your
families and I will close in memory of teacher dawn Feld stead at 803 thank you have a good night
