User privacy
This site is built so that no search queries, chat messages, or question text are stored on the server or written to any log. The site operator can see activity counts, IP addresses, and general usage patterns, but never what you searched for or asked.
Privacy by layer
| Layer | What happens |
|---|---|
| Chat history | Your conversation history is stored in your browser’s local storage only. It never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time. |
| Search | Your search terms are used to find matching results and then discarded. Search queries are stripped from server logs by design. |
| Chat | Your chat messages are sent to the AI model to generate a response and then discarded. Message content is never written to server logs, files, or any database. |
| AI processing | Queries are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for AI responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs for model training. |
| Web search | When the chatbot searches the web on your behalf, derived queries are sent to Brave Search. These queries are not logged on our server. |
| Usage reports | The site operator receives periodic activity summaries showing IP addresses and counts only. No query content is included. |
| Authentication | There are no user accounts and no personal data is collected. Chat access uses a single shared password. |
