district you all know the unethical mandate newsom has recently made if you haven't realized yet we are in the united states of america the land of the free and with freedom there are individual rights god-given rights that the government has no right to infringe upon such as the government has no right to tell me what i should eat every day or

what or to tell me what i can wear every day with this being said why hasn't this been applied to the vaccine mandate nobody has the right to tell people what to put or not to put in our bodies when i go out into the summer heat i don't put sunblock on to protect anybody else but myself the vitamins i take are not

to protect anybody else but me what you put in your body is to protect yourself so those who have taken the shot should feel protected and leave the rest of us alone why should i give up my rights to put an experimental shot into my body to protect someone else's immune compromised family members if you're being cautious for your family members

by washing your hands and changing your clothes so that you don't bring home the virus why do i have to be cautious cautious if i'm not around these people that are immune compromised again let me reiterate this is my body my choice this mandate is like asking everyone to take allergy medicine to protect others from allergies i'm not anti-vaxx but i am

anti-stupidity if you want the vaccine to if you want the vaccine go ahead and get it but when your beliefs and opinions and fears interfere with our freedoms that's where we must draw the line the kids of china valley are not your political pawns we are not your kids you have no right to choose what's best for each individual i

president schaefer norm enfield the rest of the cabinet my name is amanda swagger a chino at teacher at chino high school teaching chemistry a proud member of both the district the associated chino teachers and also a proud member of one of the best groups we have on this campus peer assistance review or park for those of you who don't know i was a

i was a teacher inside the par program many many years ago as part of the par program i learned that time is of essence you have to use your time wisely this year we have an issue with subs this is very clear we have been doing our best to hire new subs to pay them more and that is a

commendable thing this this last two weeks i was asked to cover classes 8 days out of 10 and 12 out of 14. while i love doing my part supporting those in the school there are many other teachers who do not they feel the pain the compensation is not worth it and i can understand this i would like to propose to you up the

possibility of introducing a resolution to the board obviously i can't introduce a resolution but i would encourage you to put this on the agenda please increase at least temporarily the pay to sub a class to the per diem rate the while the difference is not great it's enough to encourage those teachers who go 22 dollars after taxes it's not

enough for me encourage them to take the workload off of those of us who wish to actually do the job and prepare for those individuals on a second note i wanted to thank all of the district personnel the board leadership and especially those at the school sites the front line workers and everything with covet whether we believe in vaccines masks etc

we all have a job to do and that is to support our students our parents our family and our community and it's very very important that we do just that i understand that tonight you're going to have a lot of people who are going to talk against vaccines against mandates just keep in mind that they are mandates

and i appreciate the fact that all of you including our board stands together and says we will do what the government says we need to do whether we want to or not i appreciate the fact that those individuals will disagree with me but again i appreciate the work that we are all doing to keep our children safe

whether we agree with vaccines or asks or not thank you guys for your time it's been a pleasure seth gerdin followed by james gallagher good evening board members um i've been a part of this community for over 30 years i have volunteered work i've coached i've taught i've been very involved inside this community for the better part of my

adult life i say that because i need you to know and understand that my passion is compassion and that is my conviction as i understand the words behind my actions are going to lead others to conviction as of late we've heard unkind rhetoric projected under the guise of information and that information has proclamated in charismatic fashion that charisma incited hate in our

community and that hate has built the tools necessary to dismantle and destroy when our community revels in the destruction of others our community loses the vision to prosper the reveling of destruction was on full display when our community attacks your fellow board members personally not a legitimate attack not on their qualifications but rather on attack on their privacy

what's even more disappointing than falling victim to this evil is when we stand silent and not in direct opposition of this evil what i want to to ask you the board and the members behind me today is to remember the kind words of dr king to remain your civility to be civil to one another he talks about in his uh

uh speech the two americas the two americas that i live in there's those that are civil and those that have to be civil in the face of evil so i'm asking not only you guys to be civil amongst one another and to stand united but to those standing behind me to be civil not only towards you but to

those who have a different understanding than they do thank you [Applause] james gallagher followed by yolanda good evening president schaefer uh superintendent enfield staff and also fellow residents i come here tonight to praise this board and also to praise this administration i think sometimes with all the controversy that's going on we tend to overlook some of the good things that this board has

accomplished what i've witnessed over the past few weeks and months is this board has voted to get new facilities which i think we all thoroughly need this board in its entirety has voted for music programs to be reinstated it's voted for mental health counseling which we know is needed with the students in this facility this board has also voted for

entrepreneur and create career partnership with the chino valley chamber of commerce which i think is an outstanding move and also a multitude of calendar items that you've approved over the past few weeks also when i look at the dashboard for covet 19 your moving 10-day rate shows that 29 students have contracted covid and only five staff members have

contracted cobit over this 10-day period i think that shows it's low it shows to me that what this board is doing is right that what you need to do is protect our students by making sure that our staff are vaccinated or at least tested on a weekly basis and so i commend you for that and thank you very much for giving

me the time to speak yolanda followed by the parent association of chino valley followed by michael ross okay i'm gonna talk quick because i got a lot to say my name is yolanda i'm a teacher here in the district i'm here to speak on a few concerns the first is the sub crisis i understand this is something happening

everywhere but what is my district doing to solve this parents this directly affects your kids our students are suffering right now when there aren't any subs the intervention teacher is called then the admin then the rsp teacher when this occurs the most vulnerable population our intervention kids are not receiving the help if you're students on an iep

and the rsp teacher subbing they're not receiving their services for that day if the school can't get a sub they do this thing called splitting or conjoining classes that means half of the class goes to one teacher half goes to another teacher how much learning do you think is actually taking place when this is occurring you sit here and you talk every month

about how important it is that our students are back in school how devastating the impact that distance learning had on them yet we can't even we're not even ensuring that they're getting a quality education when they are here you know what other districts did with their covent money they reduced class sizes and hired more teachers and our district increased it by 30 minutes

that might be helpful or beneficial beneficiary for a secondary but there is one thing we all know about being educators what works for some doesn't work for all have you been in an elementary class lately with five six seven-year-olds extending them 30 minutes doesn't do anything but drain them what the district what's the district's plan for october 15th when teachers decide they

won't be vaccinated or submit to weekly testing i can imagine our sub crisis is only going to get worse and speaking of mandating testing let's talk about the divide between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated that's being led by this board it seems that every month there's a debate amongst you board members on the topic of vaccinations the negative

energy that you have created regarding this topic has infiltrated our school sites there's an ur there's an eerie divide between the staff that is vaccinated and unvaccinated at a time when we need to work together more than ever you sit up here and continue to divide us as a district with your arguments and your added policies you

place on us as a district some of these policies make absolutely no sense can you please explain to me how you believe keeping our students safe means only testing the unvaccinated population if the teacher is vaccinated if the teacher is up at the class that is vaccinated or the teacher that isn't vaccinated can both contract kova 19 and

expose others to cover 19 how is testing only the unvaccinated population protecting our students where is the union when will you step up and support us as teachers when will you stop getting up here and saying everything is great and how thankful we are for what this board is doing for us what are they doing for us i can't speak

for all teachers but i'm tired we are treating this year like it's any other school year you're expecting us to continue all the testing all the evaluations the walkthroughs etc and you've added additional tasks on our plate like providing extra work for students when they're quarantined ensuring that we catch them up when they come back i've been a teacher my entire life i've

wanted to be a teacher my entire life this was literally my dream dog job up until two years ago i love my job i can't say that now my students have always needed more than academic help but this year my students need so much more do you understand that in order to provide that to provide a quality

education for them we can't be drowning we're over here drowning and the district isn't doing anything about it we're losing our great teachers every week and if this district doesn't do something to figure it out and step up and support great teachers more are going to walk out that door [Applause] parent association of chino valley followed by michael ross followed by

cindy feucy good afternoon board members dr enfield cabinet and fellow community members we're up here speaking on behalf of the parent advocacy of chino valley our leadership group has attended these meetings and are involved heavily in educational issues since may at the last board meeting we we requested to reach out and try to bridge the gap with the board members to

discuss how we can all work together on behalf of the children in this district shortly after that meeting we sent an email requesting to meet with board members i'm actually very pleased to say that we have talked to everyone except for mr bridge after the meeting this evening mr bridge we would like to quickly set up a

meeting with you as we would like to hear your perspective we do want to let the community know that i personally met with mrs gagne last week and our leadership group met with mr schaefer last friday i'm happy to report that these board members are happy to have monthly meetings in an open forum setting with parents to discuss issues

resolutions and new parent and community engagement ideas and a lot more this is something that we're all looking forward to and hoping that as we work together building bridges that may come between us we navigate in partnership through these times and figure out best solutions for our children in regards to parents choice we understand and accept that some

issues are totally out of your control we respect that we also desire to have the board's help and guidance and how and who to contact to advocate at higher levels for our children and thank you mr mrs gagne for working on a list to give to us with legislative we appreciate that and we're looking forward to that so we can

pass it to our community we are still hoping for a larger venue or official study sessions to continue this partnership together because as you can see parents are getting involved we know that the homeschool connection is a state priority lcff state priority number three and desire to see this engagement further developed here through the various ways already

mentioned we believe that together we are better and hope we can do this for our children we know better we do better quote from maya angelou thank you guys michael ross followed by cindy feusi followed by caitlyn martinez good evening my name is michael ross and my daughter goes to ayala high school i am here to speak in regards to my

concerns not only on the mandate to vaccinate our kids with the new vaccine but also what seems as a concerted effort by the mainstream media and pharma to censor information or testaments on the adverse effects of this vaccine which i think makes it very hard for your cells and us as parents to evaluate if the benefits of this vaccine outweigh the

potential risks i think the first and most important fact is per the cdc children under 18 years of age have a 99.9 survival rate from covid so there's literally almost zero risk for them dying from covid this is a very important statistic when we are evaluating the risk versus the benefit of mandating this vaccine a concern of ours should be that this

mrna vaccine is brand new technology being used on humans the messenger rna in these vaccine reprograms your cell to produce the covet pathogen in the form of a spike protein so it's producing the very pathogen it's supposed to shield us from no other flu vaccine works like this we have zero independent peer-reviewed efficacy studies on the long-term safety or adverse effects of

this vaccine so we need to proceed with caution in october 2020 there is a meeting between pfizer and the cdc they listed 20 plus severe side effects of the vaccine which includes myocarditis which is inflammation of the heart wall pericarditis which is swelling and irritation of the membrane surrounding the heart autoimmune disease pregnancy and birth outcomes multisystem

inflammatory syndrome in children which the mayo clinic defines as a serious condition where multiple organs such as the brain spleen gut heart eyes become inflamed at the same time which can cause death these critical facts must be discussed with the public for informed consent to set in and they are not nowhere in the moderna or the pfizer

emergency authorization act fact sheets are we getting full disclosure so how are we as parents you as board members supposed to make an informed educated decision if the benefits outweigh the risks of this vaccine we are not being provided informed consent once you take this vaccine your immune system is reprogrammed and there is no going back if there are serious adverse

effects down the line we cannot turn this off i pray that you have the courage to fight for our children push back on this mandate our kids should not be guinea pigs on an experimental unproven vaccine from a virus in which they have a 99.9 survival rate god bless you all and thank you for your time hello everyone

my name is cindy fousey i'm here to reject the governor and your mandates on masks and vaccines masks point one what is the dirtiest part of your body your mouth you want our children to be masked six to eight hours a day it's child abuse my grandson age five wore a mask for six and a half hours last

six and a half hours a day last year after three days you could see the bright red fungus appear around his mouth and lips the prescribed cream was applied three times a day and all it did was take away some of the redness overnight it was sore and it hurt he endured this for four months during christmas break it cleared up

with the cream he returned to school he outsmarted everyone with all their degrees he wore his mask just under his nose so he could breathe properly that's here of course there were many adults who kept asking him to pull his mask up over his nose which he complied with for the moment guess what happened the fungus hasn't come back

don't tell me masks don't harm children why did it take a five-year-old to figure this out for himself point two how do children learn to talk they watch your mouth and listen can you see your mouth move with a mask on no can you hear properly with a mask on for pronunciation can you even read people's faces with a

mask on no how in the world is this helping children all in the name of fearing the spread of covert which there is no study that masks even work this is child abuse stand up and end it something for you to think about it is my understanding or there appears to be no pushback on this governor he is not the god he thinks he is

we elect and pay you to give our children a good education and to fight for them quit dumbing them down and abusing them leadership is not to be like sheep characteristics of sheep number one timid fearful easily panicked number two dumb stupid gullible number three stampede easily vulnerable to mob psychology number four little or no means of self-defense

can only run number five easily killed by enemies number six jealous competitive for dominance seven helpless time eight time leaders need to be lion like not sheeple time has expired ma'am thank you [Applause] it is better to be a lion for one martinez angela pleasure to see you guys all again always fun um to kind of recap on last meeting

bridge you mentioned about um the sugar cubes and how it was just a normal thing we all lined up got our sugar cubes like a typical high school teacher history teacher you failed to leave out the other side 200 were administered and then they stopped because 40 000 of them had severe adverse reactions so when you look at that you can't just

use this blanket term and assuming that everyone's going to be safe i did it i'm fine my son who's back there didn't want to come up is not fine he is that 0.1 percent you want to protect but the irony is we had to create an elderly hour during the pandemic because it was every man for themselves to get water

and food now we're worried about the immune compromise it's a joke and you know it and then kanye you speak on mandates and how our hands are tied our hands are tied and all this legal stuff i know legal stuff i've gone through malpractice lawsuits where i've taken um doctor's license i've gone through custody battles i've gone into court i

even helped my best friend study from the bar i'm well versed in loss and i know that there's a lot of gray areas to them and that's where you guys tiptoe and hide behind you hide behind these mandates what good are you guys if you guys are just glorified messengers when will you stand up for our kids

we see all these other counties we see riverside county we see orange county we see kern county up north we see all of these counties standing up and saying wait this mandate isn't okay newsome put a mandate on churches and what happened he got sued and owned three million dollars not all mandates are lawful and you guys know that what mandate will

it take for you guys to stand up for our kids will it have to be food rationing where you guys stop and say wait something's wrong what will it take i'm really wanting to know we already have thousands of people losing jobs we have kids kicked out of school right now kids that are suffering with mass all protect my son

that's not your job my job is to protect my son i'm not expecting anyone else to light their kid on fire to protect mine that's not your burden that's mine so as as much as i love you guys carrying that burden we all know that it's a false advertisement of what you truly stand for it's about control

and that's not what this country was built on and that is not what you guys should be standing up here for we as parents elected you to fight for us fight for us don't be messengers you guys can push back on this mandate and you know it there's so many people sb277 they wiggled around with the exemptions

and with the laws with the vaccines they're going to push away with that too we're going to lose exemptions with this so i hope at the end of this your remarks are oh we'll have exemptions in place they pulled those a long time ago and they're working on it right now senator pan already announced it so please do the right thing for our

kids for what angela romero followed by kristo followed by marsha kane sure can you read the first name again angela romero hi my name is angela romero these are our children our future they are not to be test subjects for the government subject to potential myocarditis blood cuts seizures or becoming sterile our kids just want to be kids and go to school and deal with

normal school issues instead they are subject of tug-of-war they deserve to be unmasked and the option to or not to be vaccinated the government should not mandate a vaccine on our children of which they have no official evidence of potential immediate short-term or long-term consequences these are our kids our future and we should have the rights and ability to choose what we

believe is right for them not the government you right here in front of all of us are our voice via an invite i saw on the agenda to state my concerns and share my opinions as such i am here i have faith that you will stand with us and do what is right for the greater good of our youth

we are here to vocalize our opinions and stand up for our kids as we have faith in in your hopes that in our your hopes that are good for you are good quality leaders per the agenda leadership matters for california education system and the more than 6 million students that it serves that it serves please help us save the future and

for meeting i know sonia said some of you guys met with some of the parents and that's great we really appreciate that um but at the same time actions speak louder than words and i've also heard you guys stating that you're backed in a corner you have to follow these mandates there's nothing you can do um and that you have to

that you can't fight but that but you can like that's your job that's why you're sitting here that's why you are elected um isn't that why you're sitting on the board is to represent us if we um if we all could just go above you guys and go to the state and go to the the government then why do we have a board

like what is your purpose if we could do your job why why are you doing it why are you taking all of our money to not speak for us and represent us um so i already know after this you guys are just going to say there's nothing we can do we're backed in a corner but that's 100 false like caitlyn said there

is many districts fighting the superintendent of marietta valley if you go on their website he put a big disclaimer on there it was a big red exclamation mark you click on it and he stated that he they are supporting parent choice and they are fighting this they have lawyered up and they are ready to go i've made i've made many i made many

phone calls to other schools and other districts that have already lawyered up as well and they're ready to go you can do something about it you can fight you just don't want to because it doesn't fit your agenda i have i know a lot of companies out there are getting money for each and every employee that gets

vaccinated right i'm pretty sure that's why you're not fighting this either the dollars that's going to go in your pocket right you have made it very clear that money is more important to you than our children if you haven't noticed by now we aren't going away we want parent choice we need parent choice if people want to mask their kids and

vaccinate their kids then they should have that choice but we should also have that choice if we don't want that to do that we didn't have children for the government to tell us what to do with them today kids are fifty percent of our population but they are a hundred percent of our future and we need to invest and then

you do have power to do something about the governor about what the governor wants to mandate i don't like the fact that you hide behind degrees and say that you are making that you're not making unlawful mandates or laws stop blaming the other higher the others higher in govern sorry stop blaming others in higher government positions for these mandates

anyone that is helping to implement tyrannical plans are helping the perpetrators those that that have it those that have attorney backgrounds i suggest that you look up orange county board of education and do as they are doing orange county orange county board of education is suing governor gavin newsom and they will not they will not mandate eu aids

the cdc and the fda are not above our constitutional right or are god-given rights please [Applause] please stop your witchy attitude stop invoking your beliefs stop bullying and stop segregating the vaxxed and the unvaxed that will not do any good eventually everyone will get one or all covered variants stop causing conflict with the large group of constituents that are here

ask board for consensus to hear the remaining consensus okay sorry sir just a procedural thing please continue okay good evening board members and dr enfield uh as most of you know i'm the bingo caller at june hills high school and of course what i have here is mostly questions which probably won't be answered i'd like to know the difference between

chino hills high bingo gymnasium where we used to hold our bingo and other buildings and bingos i understand well i know chino senior center bingo is inside i am the caller there we've had bengal there for a month i'd like to know why we're being punished and have to have our bingo outside at chino hills high school

and i understand last sunday we had a couple of people that had heat stroke or exhaustion and had to leave our bingo what guidelines or rules are we going by that are different than the rest of the county and it seemed like all of a sudden our bingo is an external activity rather than internal but vote it was okay for voters to go

and vote indoors at chino hills high school so these are questions like i say they probably won't be answered but those are just some of the things i'd like to make people aware of thank you rebecca lawless followed by karen hassett followed by virginia renteria good evening i wasn't planning to speak so i don't have notes and my voice might

shake a little bit because i'm not used to this but i just want to say i've lived here for almost 60 years my husband's been here for nearly 70. we've gone through all chino schools in fact just a week ago we were at his 50th class reunion here on central bosco having a great time this we love the

city of chino we love the people who serve it and who live here and that includes all of you that being said we also love our schools i mean you know chino you know we love chino and we're so proud to be cowboys i went to walnut avenue magnolia chino high and this district we were a shining

light throughout the entire county for such a long time we let you led the way i mean you were kids back then but you led the way and year-round school when it first got implemented i was i did year-round school the very first year chino ever offered it back in the very early 70s we you know we have

led the way and we need to do that again lead the way in the county and give parents the opportunity to parent their own children parents i i know that each of you want to believe that you know what's right for our children and our grandchildren but only the parents and grandparents know that and if you want to mask and mask

your child and vaccinate your child you should you absolutely should but if you don't feel it's what's right for your child you should not until you feel that it is please we i'm involved with a group of women we pray weekly we pray for you all of you whether you agree with us or not you are heavily prayed for and we

want to be a light in the darkness in this community and that can start right here within our school board by being making the choice the hard choice of allowing parents and grandparents to do their own parenting we don't need your help with what goes on within our homes we need your help with helping schools run efficiently and that does not

include dealing with our children's health i myself i had scarlet fever when i was a kid my mom kept me home for a couple weeks we didn't ask the whole community to shut down for us i got through it i remember it very clearly because i was so ill but i made it through and nobody we didn't ask

anybody to sacrifice on my behalf and that's just the way life is i developed a good immunity and our children will too by being in class without their mask on if that's what the parent wants and by the way if the mask is so good why is one sitting on the floor over here it shouldn't that be

dangerous for all of us to be sitting around a mask that's on the floor doesn't make any sense but we're going to pick that mask right up and stick it in a pocket put it on our face later on and think that we're doing the right thing that's all i have to say thank you for your time

karen hassett followed by virginia renteria followed by julie santosola hi my name is karen hassett and i am a regular bingo player at chino hills high school i have been for years so let me say that in advance and i question two why are we sitting out playing outside in 100 degree weather we play bingo on sundays

at the heat of the day and it's bad on the bingo players we are just dobbing papers but let me tell you and i the sweat is pouring off of us but let me tell you the people that run around volunteered parents i don't know how they do it in that weather they never seem to take a break from

like 10 10 30 to like four they're just running around servicing all of us the people who actually run the bingo other than the volunteer parents i never see them sit down and take a rest they truly are dedicated to making that that bingo work and if you can go into a grocery store or i also play bingo other places in san

bernardino county as well as la county their rules in san bernardino nobody even wears a mask as long as they say are you vaccinated fully vaccinated do not need to wear a mask most people my age are fully vaccinated but some are not just respect the rules and i don't understand why we're playing outside in the heat if you want more

ventilation in that building that gym is huge open the doors on either end and you'll get across ventilation i hope that something can be done to change this because i really do enjoy playing bingo there i have no intention of not playing it makes a lot of money for this school district and i don't think the bingo should have

to go without that those funds that helps not only the athletic departments it helps music it helps cheer and we are certainly willing to spend our money at that at that bingo game to make sure that these kids get what they need so i want to thank you again for allowing us to speak here tonight and have a great evening

jacob you roberts remember me from the last couple of meetings i wasn't going to speak tonight um i had my son's 504 today and a lot of you don't know some of these parents do know my son was diagnosed with crohn's in seventh grade due to an adverse reaction to the seventh grade vaccines he has had several adverse reactions to

other vaccines after that that if it caused him to have severe flares no child at the age of seven should have to have a colonoscopy an mri i can't name all of the tests that i had to watch him go through he's been on aec off and on since seventh grade he's actually been excited to be back on campus for two classes

because i knew knew someone was going to do something so i kept them on half on aec and half on campus to see the kid change he's not depressed because he's around friends he's interacting with teachers today during his 504 it was brought up about whether we were going to what we were going to do his comment was

it's my body i don't want to put something in it that's going to cause me to fall out of remission and bleed every day not be able to have any nutrition not be able to interact with my friends be curled up in bed in pain and have medication after medication after medication because somebody wants to force something on me

that's gonna affect me in a way that i cannot function i went from a depressed child locked up with everybody else's child for the past year and a half who's been depressed now thriving and his comment today was what difference does it make i don't care what college i go to i don't care what school i go to i don't care what my

future holds for me what are you going to do i want to know from all of you what are you going to do for my kid because his doctor agrees but his doctor scared because his doctor said i'm being forced to tell you no you can't have a medical exemption for your son because i'll lose my job kaiser is telling

everybody they can't have medical exemptions doesn't matter what you have there's patients that are on transparent plant lists that can't have it and they're being denied so i want to know what are you going to do for my son so he wants to stay in school hi thank you for allowing us to speak today and for listening and considering

what we have to say i want to start out with just saying that first i believe it's your obligation to protect our children i believe it's your obligation to represent the kids and the parents of the kids that have been put under your charge i i want to share a little bit about my my kids i have three boys who've all gone

through your school district i myself graduated from john lugo many years ago my boys were all three vaccine injured i filed for medical exemptions after the state of california decided to remove a religious exemption as well as a personal belief exemption my boys got their exemption back in 2018. unfortunately right before that happened i was forced by the junior high to get

my son who is a senior now at chino high i was forced to get him a shot in order for him to continue to attend magnolia junior high i didn't know what to do i was at a loss i didn't have a doctor who was willing to write me a medical exemption yet and he developed severe seizures

we spent thousands of dollars trying to fix the damage that was sent to him by that last exemption we spent years avoiding the vaccines and luckily we were able to avoid them for as long as we did due to those exemptions that were in place that have are now no longer available um he's doing better now but we've spent

a lot of time and a lot of money and who knows how many setbacks he's had to endure in his learning um he got the exemption all three of them got the exemption in 2018. our we have a little girl now in our household who's ready to start preschool in your system as well we went to go get her her medical

exemption and our doctor passed away not due to covet he passed away before the covet was a thing and now i don't know what to do for her i'm scared for her i'm scared for all the kids honestly i'm terrified and i want to read a little bit of information between december of last year and september of this year this was

published on the cdc website there has been 752 803 severe adverse side effects due to the covet vaccine 105 758 of those were extremely severe including death pfizer alone has reported earnings of 26 billion in profits since releasing the vaccine that's 26 billion dollars sorry seven times seven thousand two hundred and fifteen deaths sorry forty nine thousand nine hundred

guys decide stuff that you guys want to impress us with i just ask you to think of yourself when you make these decisions and i believe that this is inevitable because jesus christ has said that this will come to pass and i did not try to fight it because no one has the power to do anything that god

doesn't allow them to do but i will tell you that the line is wrong and all of us have a side to decide that we want to stand on and for you and your freedom i would stand with you whether you're on this side or that side i would stand with you if you wanted to wear a mask i

i sounded very confident of what i was saying so we all agreed on one thing when people are in trouble whether you're a child or adult we end up going to a rehab center to get better that is our job if we got involved in the drugs doctors will tell you stop taking those drugs if we have a drinking

problems matter of fact i think 13 million million of americans do have drinking problems and out of those over 8 million people are alcoholics but they do not understand that they have problems so today i said do you guys understand what dui stands for and one kid says yes my family got one recently it's driving under influence

whether drugs or alcohol and i said do you understand what d-u-i-s is they said no what that is mr na and i said it stands for driving under influence of stupid pills this is what's been happening we've been getting up and taking stupid pills whether from tv or news media or self-consciousness because we don't want to hurt others feelings

so people are continuing to taking making stupid pills every morning so you know to correct that or bring back the normalcy we need to stop taking making me stupid pills every morning that's it it's like drugs and alcohol so when i heard stupidity twice today by the speakers it really uh made me laugh because that's what i was going to say to

tonight and my heart was broken when two parents talk about their children life-threatening side effects by these mandated shots my heart is totally broken and i remember about six years ago one kid told me happy birthday you are a uh half century man 50 years old so then i said that's right i didn't feel good but i

said that's that that's that's great yeah um but we have to stand up for the kids uh although they're okay our kids 99.99 they're okay but other kids that was going to have a detrimental side effects if we have a hardened heart we have to break it and stand up for the children tonight so i'd like to place an action item

for the next board meeting for us to join muriata and orange county board of education in supporting children and parents of choice against poor decision made by gavin newsom under the name of state mandate [Applause] and second item our schools has been having lots of problems not only our school district but throughout the country you guys heard about tick tock i'm not

so good with social media but they're actually commending or directing our children to go destroy the properties of our school go destroy the respect to our teachers and staff members and evidently this company is foreign owned i'd like to ask our staffs consult with our legal counsel which we need to uh if we do pass the action item because we have to fight

gavin at the same time we could file a claim against tick tock because this was recommended by mr kob from ayala high school who happens to be our security personnel he was so upset all the damages that that had happened because the tick tock has a political agenda by the foreign country to destroy our nation by subjecting our children for uh

for misbehavior and their failure so we need to make a stance and i think we need to file the acclaim against the tick tock and i'm sure other districts would join us now the bingo our seniors and and and our community members i had gone and visited uh bingo at chino hills high school yes it was windy and it was hot

and these are seniors you know what they're getting not a water they had cups but not water they were getting a cup of ices it wasn't really that bad and i could foresee that not only from this heat but it could be a rainy day and and uh the cold winter is coming so we need to place them in a place where

they could enjoy and and still raising funds for our children's uh sports program there and i need to i think we need to support them and embrace them we need to treat them differently than any other groups from outside because they're really intertwined so i'd like to ask our dr enfield to look into that and yes all the schools have

finding employees and concern and yeah that teacher's right from chino high school that we have done many things to find substitute teachers but sometimes in the last minute an hour before teacher would call us and and when we find a person so if we're able i agree with the teacher uh have a emergency whatever we call it to raise

the self pay to uh teachers per diem and and if we have a qualified uh substitute teachers who's as good as the regular teachers i think our teachers i mean our students will benefit the most it's better than having a just a babysitter being there so i agree with the teacher hundred percent uh if we're able to do it let's do that raise our

self-pay temporarily to a teacher's dm and thank you and thank you for all you guys showing up as again if you don't show up and voice your opinions why should we have a board meeting we look at the la times and do what ellie times says so thank you for coming thank you mr now you make a very good suggestion

on the uh on what i call period subbing is one who over my career had to do a lot of a lot of period subbing for just that that small amount of pay if we can fit it into the budget i'd like to see because the sub shortage is all over i have friends out in san bernardino they

that's uh that's quite an honor and i know we have other schools in our district have been able to do that and it shows the quality of this this district uh last thursday i attended the chino valley seroptimist club open house celebrating the club's 65th anniversary and presented them with a certificate from the school district congratulating them for this achievement

and recognizing the partnership that they have with our school district through high school scholarships the soroptimus youths forum and other programs this uh open house was also part of the year celebrating the 100th anniversary of siroptimus international it was a very nice event and i was glad to represent the district at that event after right after our last meeting i

attended the milk can game at don lugo and congratulations to chino high on on their victory also had the chance to get by chino hills high last last friday in in their game tomorrow night is the chino high homecoming football game preceded by the parade in the afternoon and while i won't be able to make the parade i do hope to be able to get to

the game because we had an extra week and this will kind of explain my absence miss shaw between board meetings i was able to take a brief vacation back to the midwest and attend my wife's 50th high school reunion in south dakota i know that she's not going to be happy because that gives away her age but

but uh i do i did this to mention that whenever you graduate from wherever and and we heard uh one tonight to stay in touch and if possible attend your reunions um i did enjoy touring her old high school which was built in the 1880s they have since and it reminded me of the new chino high going up

that they had a new high school built in the south into town about 15 years ago so i see the progress that we're doing with with chino high although we won't be able to keep the old buildings because once the new chino high opens uh those buildings will become the the new athletic field excuse me one thing about flying back there and

having to wear masks is uh the one thing that wasn't mentioned is if you have allergies it sure doesn't help your allergies on the on the plane even with allegra i can i can vouch for that and so you're kind of hearing an example of that tonight uh lastly and it's funny when i taught in a classroom i didn't seem to ever

have allergies it's like once i retired all of a sudden they showed up lastly i'm wearing pink tonight to recognize that october is breast cancer awareness month and what we're hearing is there's so much talk about covid that we almost forget about the other c word and that that concerns me as much if not more because 30 years ago this month i

lost my mother to breast cancer because she didn't catch the symptoms quick enough there's been other cancers in my family my wife my wife's uh cousin just lost their 10 year old son to cancer back in minnesota and and so i really think it's important that well yes we're dealing with with covet that we can't overlook what's happening

in the rest of the country and people with with cancer and so whatever we can do to raise awareness i i'm all in favor of that and with that uh that concludes my remarks mrs gagne please yes good evening at the last board meeting i brought up an issue that is very important that i know that our sr committee process and

our parents survey have brought to light as well as a primary concern of all stakeholders in this district and that is mental health and making sure that we have appropriate mental health supports for our students our staff and our community and when i brought that up i made a request to create some mechanism to address that whether that's feedback or programs we

currently have or programs that we are intending to launch from the esser funds from that parent driven process dr enfield you and i had a discussion so i did not bring a formal action item can you share some information about the advisory committee that's going to be put together yeah so we we're currently we're collecting information from our students

of what exactly are they looking for in the area of mental health and we're in the process of designing that and again going back and forth but as part of that process we'll have a committee set up that will evaluate how that progress is going with our students thank you and that's my comments for this evening okay

uh let's have one quick comment i too want to congratulate hidden trails on obtaining national blue ribbon status it's quite an outstanding achievement and like mr bridge said we do have other schools in our district that have obtained that but they're just the newest i'd also like to thank our parent advocate group and those that are here tonight

for continuing the dialogue and for inviting us to to meet i do look forward to a town hall type meeting where we can hopefully answer some questions in a more casual setting where we don't have the restrictions of a set board agenda and uh brown act and all that good stuff so i look forward to to that

um with that i'm going to suspend the rest of my comments i will adjourn the regular meeting of the board of education at 7 49 pm board members please remain seated as we do have two small meetings to go through
