negotiators act and csea public employee appointment high school assistant principal public employee discipline dismissal release and public employee performance evaluation superintendent the board appointed viviana gentry as assistant principal chino hills high school effective september 19 2022 by a unanimous vote of 5-0 with bridge cruz gnaw schaefer and gagne voting yes no further action was taken which requires public disclosure thank you

leading the pledge of allegiance tonight is our student representative maya king the republic for which it stands one nation under god and indivisible with liberty and justice for all you may now be seen next up we're at item 1d comments from employee representatives we'll begin with act president brenda walker good evening president gagne school board member superintendent and field

district staff and community i'd like to draw your attention to something that i am sure you see and hear about each time you visit a school or work site in our district and that is the clear and sustained commitment that our members have when it comes to educating and supporting all our students our classroom teachers focus on not just

the curriculum but they take into consideration every student that they are charged with educating they don't just open a book or computer each day and start teaching teachers think about all the students in their room and tailor their lessons to engage students and meet their needs not just academically but their social and emotional needs as well have you talked to any of our nurses

lately when our nurses support students they also consider the importance of supporting the whole student administering medication and conducting hearing and vision screenings is just a small fraction of what they do and because of the important work they do they can't afford to lose focus when we think of our psychologists we know that they do a lot of

assessments but not just one type they're called to assess assess our students who are going through a social or emotional issue and their focus and commitment is on supporting each and every student and our speech pathologists they get to know their students and what excites them and motivates them so they can plan the best treatments and therapy

sessions for them the glass the last group i want to talk about are the counselors we're fortunate to have many classifications of counselors in our district and these members have been called on quite a bit in the last two plus years because of the emphasis and need to support the social and emotional well-being of our students our educators and support providers

don't do this alone we rely on our administrators for guidance and direction but just as important our member members partner with our parents and guardians so that we not only teach but reach every one of our students it's all in the day's work for our members but they do it because of our focus and it's on our students i

thank you for your attention tonight have a good evening thank you we'll now hear from representative from cse good evening everyone i am csca's chino chapter secretary yvette bookout last month danny thanks several departments and personnel for getting the district ready for the start of the school year he wanted to apologize for missing some groups and extended

appreciation to all employees of the cvusd cvusd would or i'm sorry csca would also like to thank all the board members who took the time out of their busy schedules to job shadow our members recently and hope you guys had a fun time learning all the stuff that we do currently csea is also in negotiations with the district we do feel that our

proposal is equitable and we hope to come to an agreement soon so we can give our membership what they deserve thank you and have a good night thank you we'll now hear from barbara bearden champ president good evening president gagne school board members dr enfield cabinet and chino valley community champ would like to thank dr enfield and

our risk management department for implementing a new procedure for the new weekly covid testing for our and vaccinated employees the rollout of the new testing kit was easily managed so we appreciate you thank you every year participating schools apply for the pbis coalition's recognition for the implementation of positive behavior interventions and supports i am thrilled to report that woodcrest junior high

school earned the top award with a platinum level implementation award i i want to say that might be our first school in the district to earn platinum 22 schools earned the gold level and 10 schools earned the silver silver level award this year schools work all year revising and improving their practices to support students social and emotional health as

well as develop good habits that will help them as they become contributing members of our communities it is extremely exciting to have 33 of our schools recognized this year for their incredible work i know this will be another exciting year for growth np in pbis with the support of the mtssb team led by eunice castano's and her

team as well as our counselors who are working hard to support our students finally i hope our community is finding ways to beat the heat this week and into the next week the students may have some extra energy because schools are implementing their inclement weather procedures to avoid heat related illnesses so please everyone please drink lots of water i know we're in a

drought but we need it enjoy your long weekend thank you we'll now hear from our student representative miss maya king board president gagne members of the board superintendent enfield and distinguished guests good evening and happy september our district had our first student advisory council meeting of the year tuesday thank you to mr bennett for hosting it and to all the

schools who attended so those who couldn't make it i hope to see you at the next one ayala high calero chino hills high and townsend are all having club rush this week or in the coming weeks i all had their first home football game last friday they are in the middle of their false sport their fall sports rally

spirit week with the rally being tomorrow briggs is having their first dance this week and are also in the middle of elections for asb cabinet cal arrow had their first friday comp which is essentially games they do every so often on fridays during lunch they're also having a spirit week canyon hills is doing their asb elections that are

hosting an after school event for the community shortly chino hills high had their first indoor rally for fall sports they just announced their homecoming theme and ticket info they also had their first home home football game don lugo had a first day of school beach party with ice cream and games they hosted their first inner rally and also

had their first home football game magnolia has a dance coming up shortly and just finished their elections for asb townsend had their first spirit day last friday and will continue to have them every friday they are also having spirit games and have a dance coming up chino i had a blood drive yesterday where we had over 90 donors we also had our first

home football game two weeks ago we are also going to be hosting a um opening party shortly in october so for people to come view the new school with vendors and games and things like that more info to come on that another reminder milkhand a football game with chino high against don luga high as well as battle the bone football game with

chino hills high and ayala high are coming up in about two weeks both are september 16th and i hope to see everyone in our community at least one of the games uh thank you and again i hope everyone has a great rest of your night thank you thank you [Applause] we are now at item 1e comments from the

deliberations on an issue speaker cards will not be accepted the board is very interested in your comments but please bear in mind the board typically does not respond to comments during this time on the agenda as it is reserved specifically for public comments individual members may respond during board comments at the end additionally the board does its best to support the

public's right to address its elected officials it is also important that the board conduct its business in an orderly and fair fashion as provided by board bylaw 9323 in the event that an unusual amount of speaker cards is submitted for any item the board will hear up to 30 minutes of comments in the case of non-agenda items the board can if it

district employee the first speaker is greg killinger followed by cindy feusi followed by maya dean good evening my name is greg killinger and i'm a teacher at buena vista high school this is my fifth year in the district and my 30th year overall in teaching the reason i'm addressing the board this evening is to acknowledge that there is a large wave of students

headed our way at buena vista we expect to see an increasing number of students in the alternative education program with the events of the last two years more and more students are facing difficulties that they have never faced before today we are nearly at capacity with 180 students three more intakes are scheduled this school year it is common to see over 50 applicants

per intake at buena vista we have seen some changes already we have a new culinary program that includes five classes and with cvla we share a new school psychologist mrs wright out and a new intervention counselor mr robles we have created a new zen den that facilitates a healthy peaceful and meditative space within our school we like to think of ourselves as the

hidden jewel of the chino school district why the hidden jewel you ask last year under our continued outstanding leadership by our principal kyle schuler our alaska accreditation visit revealed that we received six years with a one day review in three years the best we could have earned we offer an infant toddler center for students with children we capture students from our

comprehensive high schools who have little or no chance of graduating what are the results in the last two years our graduation rates are 91.9 percent and 93.7 percent we now need to address the number of students who need our services without negatively affecting the success of our program my suggestion is adding a fifth quarter or an extended

school year to our program this would provide a full scale a full day for up to 200 students where they could earn as many as 30 credits during a quarter versus our current summer school program that provides approximately 50 students with the opportunity to earn between 5 and 10 credits logistically i know this will take work to make it happen

but in my view our students deserve the very very best that we can offer them thank you for your time thank you cindy boise followed by maya dean followed by sonia shaw hello everyone today i'm identifying as god school board listen up our governor the one who you follow like sheep with your ideology is being defeated three lawsuits in a week on how

his mandatory lockdowns were illegal you just took the money and followed along where was your push back where were your backbones you are a betrayal gagne enfield schaefer bridge and now you want to be reelected gagne shame on you children first solutions great education you blew it it harmed the children in many ways following a tyrannical governor and teachers union for as long

as they wanted they definitely are not god have you ever heard of a lawsuit even more harm so harmful you're still harming these kids this crt racist garbage as you say it's not in our schools hogwash just because there's nothing specific that says critical race theory doesn't mean it's not being taught through the language it's in the sel social

emotional learning double speak or the language being used comprehensive educate sex education in k-12 and gender identity studies i hate to tell you so-called diploma or degree persons you got caught up in the college scam and radical left agenda you didn't use your god-given critical thinking skills you got woke indoctrinated god created a male and a female you cannot change it it doesn't

matter what you change the definition to it doesn't matter how you alter the words or double speak or try to change the language it is what it is by chromosomes god gave each and every one of us trials and tribulations to work through in our lives that does not mean your specific situation or mind gets shoved down to each other's throat

common sense the rule of laws and solutions is what's needed to survive not defiance and poor me attitudes or i'm different so only i matter and you better conform to me you just updated chino high school state of the art i heard are there gender-neutral transgender bathrooms and lockers in this updated school as a possible solution to the

huge gender identity controversy did you offer solutions to this controversy what were they let's have some trans transparency with the people who you work for parents and your families get out and vote in november there are two school board candidate candidates absolutely do not have your children's bed best interest in their education as top priority they have a radical agenda and are more

interested in what gender and personal pronouns your kids want to be called along with the dumbing down of your children it's not reading writing and arithmetic thank you thank you indoctrination thank you an evil corruption thank you it doesn't matter if you believe thank you god or not thank you followed by sonia now i'm going to identify as thank you

thank you thank you on country now your time is up my boise miss boise he is i'm chris boise where's my time miss boise hello good evening my name is maya dean i'm the community programs manager at the chino basin water conservation district located in montclair and i just wanted to share some information with you tonight about some

of our free youth programs that we offer to your schools in the chino valley unified school district we offer both in-person and virtual field trip options which are hosted tuesdays through thursdays and for in-person field trips we offer bus reimbursements up to 500 all of our field trip programs are grade specific and aligned to next generation science standards our field trips book

up very quickly and registration this year opens up next week on september 7th i also wanted to share some information about our annual poster contest where student winners receive 100 checks and teachers of winning students can receive up to 250 dollars in chat in gift cards to cm school supply last year our fourth grade winner was actually from edwin rhodes elementary

the deadline for teachers to submit posters is the end of january and the student winners will be recognized at our annual open house in march lastly i wanted to invite you to our annual waterwise garden and pumpkin fest which will be on saturday october 1st from 10 a.m to 2 p.m hosted at the waterwise community center in montclair

we have hosted this free family event since 2006. the purpose of the event is to provide community members with water related resources and family friendly activities and entertainment we will have a pumpkin patch food truck music giveaways and much more so we have been in touch with your communications department and teachers on our mailing list to spread the word

about our programs and i just would love if you could also share with your principals and schools so i will leave these when i leave this evening thank you very much thank you the final speaker is sonia shaw hi guys my name is sonia shaw and i'm here to talk about title ix title ix has paved the way for millions of girls and

women to access equal opportunity in our nation's schools and has been instrumental in combating sexual assault and sexual violence in educational settings biden's new proposals would redefine what sex is in title ix and destroy exactly what we built so hard to have for our female athletes i'm a mother of two female athletes i see their blood their sweat their tears i

see their the way they study i see the way that they have to sacrifice in order to be athletes not only do they proudly wear chino valley you know school one of them is chino hills high and she's a and a soccer player and they proudly you know represent chino hills high and with these proposals they will

shatter a bunch of our female athletes dreams and i'm hoping and i'm requesting and i'll follow it up with an email with you dr enfield that we as chino valley school district can stand and send a letter to by president biden and ask and and tell them that we strongly oppose his new proposals to title ix and let

them know that we stand with our female athletes and we're here to protect them so i'm hoping that we can do that i will go ahead and submit it to you in writing i know you have 30 days to approve it and get it on the agenda i'm hoping i see we see it soon because public comments do end on september 12th but we

can still as a district stand and make a firm opposition in that thank you thank you we are now at changes in deletions pat are there any changes or deletions there are no changes or deletions thank you uh we are now at consent items pat are there any speakers on consent items there are none on cassette however there

is a request to speak from cindy feusi on items three a one two three four and five under information okay um so first we will take the consent item vote and dismiss consent items first board do you have any polls mr shaffer no mr bridge no polls mr gnaw i have no pools mr cruz no polls and i have no pools

uh seeing as we have no pools we'll go ahead and take a vote on these consent items can i get a motion so moved second motion for mr na second from mr bridge all those in favor please say i any opposed any abstaining motion carries five zero zero with preferential also voting yes moving on to our information items there

are a request one request to speak on each information item is that correct from one person yes okay will you be taking each item separately um just take it all at once cindy feisi items a1 through a5 hi again um this is a1 does this make it easier for our children's personal information to give be given out

and given out to who the media non-profit organizations who are they this is in the sole hands of the superintendent or a designee and who is that is this further endangerment to our children immigration status i suggest parents pull their child's birth certificate birth certificates or no longer tell the schools where your children were born if they can't ask illegal immigrants then

they can't ask you right are we going down thank you okay the immigration enforcement this is a new regulation that applies to all illegal immigrants protecting each of them because of their immigration status thus making our schools a sanctuary district it helps protect them all from law enforcement so basically break the law to enter our country tax wars taxpayers will pay for

everything and we protect them from being expelled for whatever reason by any law enforcement and then go after law enforcement agents for actually doing their job is that what we're doing what is the number of new illegal immigrants in our district since february 1st 2021 do we have a number on that with the illegal invasion at our borders

how has this impacted our schools our teachers space the learning for our kids all the extra learning and time spent on re-educating our kids and teachers on new regulations and disciplinary actions for the illegal immigrants so-called american citizens rights no i'm not a racist but i absolutely believe in the rule of law that is being shattered by our work president

who took an oath of office to protect our borders a3 sexual harassment revision there's a lot of clear messaging has been added to this one what has been going on in our schools has there been a lot happening involving sexual harassment and your procedures and your follow-up or non-follow-up big question is it now okay for anyone to report a

sexual harassment claim for themselves or for someone else a child's enemy could file a complaint if they hear your child say something that could be construed as sexual harassment oh boy a slippery slope there first you implement through curriculum and woke ideology many harmful situations and now you establish through clear messaging rules and procedures on how you're going

to investigate and punish in these harmful situations woke up ideology create the problem so you can correct it with more stupidity our schools might need to hire some of those new armed 87 000 irs agents to help investigate and punish don't get me wrong i don't believe in sexual harassment but i do feel what you're teaching these children is a big part of the

problem lastly on this the investigation of complaints is the coordinator of equity diversity and support systems imagine that critical critical race theory language number four a4 title nine sexual harassment complaint procedure i guess my first question is at this time your motivation for putting this into place is it so when biden signs an executive order egregiously changing title ix

you'll be more prepared parents pay attention biden is working hard to undermine title ix at this very moment to promote radical gender id identity ideology as mandated policy in our schools they are rewriting the scope of title ix to include sexual orientation and gender identity new rules will universally undermine biological sex and endorse the teaching of our kids

that they can be born in the wrong body this will allow school officials to authorize a child's gender transition at school without your knowledge and parental consent this will do children medical harm many children will go on to chemical and surgical changes that end in sterility infertility and lifelong sexual dysfunction these changes would hijack equal opportunity for girls by forcing girls

to share private spaces and compete against biological males in their sports how much sexual harassment will be used against you and or your children when your morals speech religion and perhaps assaults take place against your child are you ready to forfeit more of your parental rights this is insanity okay a5 hate motivated behavior oh goodness here is where the

superintendent or destiny shall collaborate with regional programs and community organizations who are to promote an environment where diversity is celebrated and hate motivated behavior is not tolerated the district shall provide students with age-appropriate instruction who determines age appropriate and what instruction sex ed and crt starting in kindergarten are these people woke liberals someone with no kids hate motivated behavior

is behavior intended to cause harm by intimidation harassment bigoted slurs or epithets etc on anyone and it appears for just about any reason right on down to sex orientation gender gender identity gender expression your children can no longer be a boy or girl and you better know personal pronouns get a copy of this out at the table

check out the list the superintendent will provide training on all this to teachers and staff they are reaffirming crt and comprehensive sex education through s-e-l all stemming from the cdc's whole school whole community old child and we love the cdc right sel is the delivery system of marxism through crt it may not be called crt but is it it is

implemented by exposing your children to the application of theory culturally responsive teaching and psychologically manipulating your children to agree to the concepts and idea ideology i'm sorry the sel programs use ton of red flag words inclusive diversity global systemic racism racism white privilege social justice equitable or equality community community organizers and many more your children's individualism and

freedom of critical thinking skills are being destroyed for globalism this is woke education sel is in the district i believe ayala uses mtss counseling townsend junior high has it google what program your school uses there are many of them are your children going to be accused of hate motivated behavior an example not using personal pronouns how about being called a racist for not

going along with white privilege or being called an oppressor ask the school board candidates if they believe in the sel crt and sce that is being pushed you will know who to vote for if they're honest thank you thank you that it for public comment pad any questions or comments from the board seeing no lights and hearing no motion

to speak uh we'll move on to our communications uh we are now at communications mr shaffer very quickly just a couple a couple of comments i had the pleasure of attending the hidden trails elementary school dual language immersion ribbon cutting ceremony it was a very nice program and i was glad to see the program get off to a very good start and

appreciated the staff over there for the job they did in setting that up and as was mentioned in the csca comments i had the chance to job share with yvette book out in the technology department and see all that she had to do and they had to do with setting up technology in this district went uh whether to set up a computer in

one one office a screen over at the at the high school that needed to be replaced was very impressed with the job they do with the amount of work that they have to do and so uh thank you uh for the day and just wanted to mention that i really appreciated it and lastly um you i guess you can go ahead

and blame me for the heat because we were over in phoenix all weekend where it was this hot and i think we packed it along and brought it here but it's uh just everybody try and do what you can to to to stays cool and and hydrate and stay indoors if you can even though many of us want to go to a

football game and probably will the next time i'm over in phoenix i'm going to have to find out how they do it with because they they run their football games over over there and in in that heat and if i can find somebody at the school near my high school near my son's house i'd like to find out what they what they do in

preparation for that or how they how they prevent it because it was just done you know believably hot over there and with that uh wish everybody uh an enjoyable labor day holiday weekend thank you thank you mr cruz sir you know you're exactly right about adult ed i'm i mean buena vista i really you know especially now

a lot of kids have a lot of emotional issues but you know i'm in education too and what you do is so important because all they need is to believe in themselves and then you take them off you just you just move them um dr info i think i think the gentleman really keyed on something and that is

the those students and i don't want to use that word fall you know they fall off the track that not like that they're just they're just unique people unique kids that they just need a helping hand and what are you saying i think it exactly is true there's going to be more students going to buena vista and i think we we

should um do something very creative what he just stated you guys use play-doh sir play-doh okay okay nevermind i thought you used something yeah so i i think i think it'll be because i know at our school district they were so successful with with a lot of those kids that you know they stopped going to school they were behind of

credit more of the students went into that type of alternative education and it was very successful you know they're they were able to graduate on time and that's a good stepping stone to the next phase of their life because the last thing you want them to do is is be at a place where they feel like like

they have not achieved something so dr enfield i think what what the gentleman is stating is something really important so i think we should really consider what he's what what he's what he's saying yeah well we'll we'll touch base mr schuler yeah you know i ran i was telling pat that i ran today 190 degrees temperature i do that

and it's so i mean some of you should do that run run in the heat because it just takes you another place and me personally i i it's so much joyful running in the heat i just wanted to share that with you so that's what i did about three hours ago i ran i just love it and

sonia you know something you're right there's some crazy stuff occurring but there's a reason for all that and when you think about it our country it's so neurotic it's so crazy that other countries they're just watching us and then really don't have to do anything just time because at our rate we're going to implode because it's really crazy

and i guarantee you those countries they ain't going to tolerate none of this stuff that's occurring whatsoever okay i just want to read some facts europe officially records a shocking 691 percent increase in excess deaths among children since the ema first approved covet vaccine for children in 2020 was a year a once in a century pandemic with no vaccines available but

the year 2021 and 2022 there are higher mortality rates so you know what's what's what's killing people more people in 2021 and 2022 and it ended in july and this one here i looked at this one and i believe it's true and that says the uk government confirms nine in every ten coveted debts over the last year

have been among the fully triple vaccinated and then we get facts from an anonymous person so i'm going to start reading these this one why was biden quarantined after two vaccinations and two boosters because you can still spread it yet you don't require all teachers to be tested what does that make what what sense is that that we only test the unvaccinated

people and when we look at the the agencies that the school districts are following you know we notice that cal osha states we give a test to the unvaccinated and then we just ask them to test that but that's as far as it goes there's no system of tracking but all districts are using govern new some cdc

that occurred in august 2021 and that is there has to be a system to track so you have to get tested to unvaccinate people have to get tested and there has to be a system just to test them and um here at this school district you know of all these teachers that are not vaccinated and you're getting upset

just please just get yourself tested because we're providing you the kids and when you become positive then you go and tell the school district just go ahead it's it's better off to just follow through because when the board changes that's when we could do some massive lawsuits against these people and also another thing too with that biden thing

you know it is it is very discriminatory to just test on vaccinated knowing the fact that even the vaccinated people are also getting sick but you know i firmly i just get the spidey sense that the coming flu season that a lot of people are going to be getting sick and i think they're going to blame it on us

the unvaccinated so this irrationality that they have just to vaccinate the unvaccinated people probably has a lot to do with us because i think they're going to blame the that's resulting with all these people getting sick in the in the winter time and i bring that up because there was a novel laureate that stated that that a lot of people are going to be

passing because of ade anti-body dependent enhancement so there's some things that i look at that don't make sense to me but they're driven they're driven to do something and they really want all of us to be vaccinated and also what passed ab2898 punish doctors that provide misinformation there there's a lot of going on right now there's so much chatter that this

vaccine is hurting killing and damaging a lot of people out there and um the truth is coming out little by little and once it comes out it's going to be so explosive there'll be a lot of people so upset and i think it's just a matter of months when this occurs but to punish doctors because they're providing misinformation

it just tells you something so wicked that you have to start paying attention to what what's occurring another anonymous from this anonymous person facts states sexual orientation and gender crt identity does not belong in any discussion club or promotion regarding anything of sexual nature on campus these topics should be prohibited not promoted to young children at a center

of learning and i'm glad you're doing this anonymous because parents need to start paying attention and start watching what is occurring in the classroom so the more this stuff is occur the more we get this type of information i i am impressed because obviously there's a lot of parents that are paying attention so less of this can occur in the

classroom also i just want to talk about some past past action items and resolutions that occurred you know with the years that have during this pandemic we had a an action item that was positive learning environment for students and that was chino valley unified school district will continue to provide students a positive learning environment regardless of their vaccine status and belief

regarding mass face masks and ganger abstained from that another one this was november 4th of 2021 a resolution urgent request to governor gavin newsom to reconsider or rescind the coed vaccine mandate for public and private k-12 students as a requirement for in-person instruction i know august 11 2021 opposing statewide vaccine mandates no [Applause] and the approval of reopening in-person

learning for k t k through six special education cohorts in school-based sports conditioning the motion failed by 2-3 and she said no as well i received this today so i'm just going to bring it up about the people that are running and the dichotomy between the two you have um a.c.t you know they're endorsing christine gainer and lisa greathouse

and then you have the other side that is john monroe and sonia you have to do your research parents what is good for your kids what is what is good and healthy for your students to have a quality education in chino value unified school district thank you thank you mr cruz mr gnaw i'd like to thank our teacher from buena

vista thank you for coming to us and with such a pride i i share my hearts with you it's a special school it is a jewel for our school district i agree 100 percent you have a geo and you have a caring heart and you guys work as a one team i'd like to thank mr schuler as a great principal there

but our secretaries and our security guard danny schenkel yeah you guys all work together and it has shown for last especially last few years how the school had grown to be a school where that everybody could call it a home and place to rebound and be a successful student so i would 100 agree and and support you

if we're considering to look into uh extended school year to support students to achieve [Music] their dream gaining more credits and going to a higher institution so dr enfield please make sure when you have a conversation with uh mr schuler uh that you have a conversation about uh possibility of having an extended school year thank you uh dr hanfield

and yeah and today was maya's first report thank you thank you so much being here and and i don't know if your mom's still here that yeah she's here i'm so she's in the back yeah yeah uh can we have you stand up uh please let's give her a grand applause you know she was watching her daughter so

carefully and then she said oh my daughter she could be having a eye contact problem and tears uh i need some the paper wipes and and tissues so this is what yeah this is what matters i mean the kids are kids uh they're in high school still their children even after they get married they'll be still our children so

thank you for being here to support your daughter uh mile's done a great job and also miss uh sonia shaw i agree with you 100 percent i would support your resolution to oppose title nine we must stand up and stop protecting our girls in sports especially with this proposal i believe it's going to bring out great harm

to our growth sports and our girls in all our schools this is a terrible proposal from the washington and people have to watch it read it and and yes wake up this is time to voice the truth and the and the common sense where we have to continue to be the leading light for our children by standing up for the

truth and let them know they're confused let them know those activists are confused and the low quality leaderships are confused people thank you thank you mr dr enfield i just have a few announcements um we had a parent in the district that started a kids entrepreneur fair a couple of years ago she's continuing to do it but she's just

taken on a new role with the chino valley chamber of commerce so on november 5th there is a kids entrepreneur fair at the shops in chino hills it's for entrepreneurs kindergarten through sixth grade and so if you know anybody that would like to participate it's a wonderful event where the kids have their businesses you can buy their products it's really positive

experience we also have a pitch competition that the chamber has done for a couple of years ages uh 13 and plus 7th through 12th grade it's kind of like a mini shark tank the students get paired up with a graduate student at the drucker school from the claremont colleges as a mentor that helps them shape their presentation

or the team of students and they also get a mentor from a local business owner so it's a good opportunity to expose kids to our local businesses and learn how to actually do a formal pitch with that i would just like to hope everybody beats the heat this weekend and have a wonderful labor day i'll adjourn this meeting at 6 49 pm thank
