accepted and lastly speakers may not approach the dasis anytime the board is in session please give any materials you wish distribute it to the board to the recording secretary Jim Gallagher followed by Claudia Cruz followed by Melissa buer good evening uh board members staff Dr Enfield and fellow residents um I noticed tonight on the agenda several resolutions and what I found curious was
there's one resolution I feel is missing as you know today marks the 80th anniversary of dday and there isn't one resolution here acknowledging that fact and the sacrifices that AR Chino Valley students and faculty made at that time uh in fighting the war as you know this was not just about fighting foreign aggression this was also opposing a
whole way of life a system of government called fascism uh black brown Asian white men women and lgbtq people all took part in fighting this the experiences of this war led to a lot greater uh policies in this country policies on uh positive changes on civil rights uh voting rights uh inclusion for everybody and it was really critical so as I mentioned early
on in 19 in the 1940s superintendent Collins as you might have heard for this school district was faced with losing teachers and students to the war effort but he told at that time the board and the faculty that we must weather on we must continue so I'd say the Chino Valley did sacrifice greatly and for that I think
we should acknowledge that um so I'm hoping as you adjourn today that you'll recognize that fact the sacrifices of those who fought and died 80 years ago on the beaches of France and Beyond so that we can continue to operate as a democracy today so maybe you can uh adjourn in memorium to that thank you next Claudia Cruz followed by Melissa
buer followed by pop fasani good evening board superintendent cabinet and attending audience my name is Claudia Cruz I am a teacher at Magnolia Jor High guess what conference periods will continue to be inequitable at secondary sites for the upcoming 2425 school year I thought the district was trying to be Equitable at least that's the reason h r gave when we were
initially told that all secondary schools would be losing it next year to make it Equitable the reverse of that action would be to reinstate the conference period at all secondary schools that's equity and past practice this district has not only made it inequitable across sites but is now showing disparity amongst Chino and Chino Hills communities three of the
four that 75% of schools without a conference period are all located in Chino a community with higher number of citizens with lower socio economic status and a higher percentage of special education students and non-english-speaking households instead of providing more resources additional time and educational support for these underrepresented groups you are giving them less and showing them implicit bias
the conference period we are asking for is not just for paperwork it would provide us with more opportunities to work one-on-one with our case load students build stronger relationships with students and families check on students progress and provide us opportunities to be proactive in supporting their individual education plans the data speaks for itself sped student numbers are larger at the
schools without conference periods socioeconomic disadvantage numbers are higher too and state test scores for sped students who met or exceeded standards and math and Ela are drastically lower in schools without a conference period than those with one how are these schools supposed to perform as well as the schools that have a conference period if things are staying status quo that means our site
administrators can reinstate the case management conference period before leaving on summer break Magnolia sped teacher spoke with our principal about why we need this time he advised us to come up with creative ways to make time within our work day we complied and gave him various choices which he did not truly explore or give consideration to the workload and demands for SP teachers
at these sites are unrealistic the unpredictable class size amount of meetings excessive and growing legal paperwork and demanding teaching Duties are reasons enough to reinstate the conference period board we need your full support and attention to this matter please direct the site administrators at Magnolia Ramona Chino and Chino Hills to do the right thing by being Equitable and giving back the case
management conference period for the upcoming school year there is still time and opportunity to do this before the year begins otherwise we will continue to do a disservice to our special education students the low work moral you have caused for sped teachers is only hurting our students and is creating an unhealthy learning environment let's interrupt the tyranny
of low expectations by providing our teachers and students an underrepresent schools with the appropriate supports we need to be legally compliant and successful do the right thing thank you next Melissa bumer followed by hope fasani followed by Jacqueline Cortez all right um please excuse my nerves I'm not a public speaker I'm just a working mom um of students in the
chaino Valley Unified School District I have no idea how long three minutes of speaking is so I'll try to make make this short I'm just here to say thank you thank you to president Shaw and to Andrew Cruz um I recently had a matter where I felt unheard by a school administration in The District in a matter concerning my son to me and my
family it was a huge problem and I was encouraged by the Chino Community to reach out to the school board for help I did and I received immediate assistance from Andrew Cruz and from president Shaw I'm here to say thank you for putting Families First and students first and Bridging the Gap between Administration and families I can't thank you enough or
let you know how much it means to me and my family that our voices were heard and that our elected representatives support us and support the families in our district from the bottom of my heart thank you next po ciani followed by jacine Cortez good evening president Shaw good evening board good evening to the Chino Community I am here as a mother of a
little boy that will be attending TK a few weeks ago I received an email from the school district that my son had been placed on waight list for the fun Club program at the Butterfield Ranch Elementary School for planning purposes I followed up with an email to inquire what place he held on that list the response I received from the district is
why I'm here tonight and I quote if you are placed on weight list we advise you to look for Alternative Care our priority for students who receive free or reduced lunch Foster youth homeless Youth and English as a second language Learners unquote my heart goes out to these children but I am a single mother now forced to pay over $1,000 a month for
child care while simultaneously paying taxes to support my school D district and I've done so proudly in seven years in the Chino Hills Community yet now that my son needs these resources he is not treated equitably I support discounts for those in needs special programs Etc but every student in the Chino Valley should have Equitable access to District programs
and they should be based on a first come first serve basis our tax dollars are the same our children's needs are the same and they should be given the same opportunities and access I would appreciate if the board would follow up on the thank you next jacn [Applause] Cortez I am here to provide an update on special education conference periods the
district whoever that is because no one has claimed responsibility for making the decision to take it away has since reinstated the conference period for the four schools that still had it last year it was taken away and just like that it was returned we did not have to bargain for it and it did not need to be
included in our contract which goes to show that at any given moment like today the district can reinstate it for all of the high schools and middle schools the fact that we are being forced to bargain for it is ridiculous which leads me to the question why was it taken away in the first place we keep being told it
was taken away for Equity purposes and because it is not in our contract I can't help but think that it was retaliation for pushing for sped language in our contract this year the equity explanation makes no sense we literally have a department dedicated to equity and they give things they don't take sped teachers are fed up with how
we are treated in this District rather than building alliances with us the district continues to burn Bridges we are not going away next year more than ever we are going to fight for sped language I do not understand why this District insists on turning its back on teachers maybe the district is taking its lead from the school board a
Schoolboard majority who truly seems to dislike teachers our Schoolboard president dislikes teachers so much that not only did she take away the right from teacher and staff parents in this District to hand diplomas to their own children but she felt the need to give the most generic chat GPT graduation speech that no one needed and that no
one asked for and that did not mention teachers at all but that's fine because the people who truly matter the students did all think the teachers because they appreciate our dedication and and hard work Miss Shaw graduation was not about you you do not support all students so how dare you think you had the right to congratulate them at one of the most
important days in their lives when you did not even support all of them your egotistical nature causes you to make everything about you but when it comes to our students it is not about you you have not done anything at all to benefit them so how dare you insert yourself in all graduations how do I know you
inserted yourself your name was not even on the program so it must have been a last minute decision stop making everything about yourself we will continue to hold you accountable until you lose your power through the board majority or you are gone whatever comes [Applause] first I apologize put a speaker card for public comments but it didn't go through
for some reason I'm sorry I don't have it do you mind if I speak who did you turn it into to uh shim do you want to verify with shimm Don did did they did Amanda yeah I asked him he said he turned my card did Amanda turn we just have to verify okay is it for the resolution
item no it's for General comments on okay Donnie verifi you're good you can go ahead thank you it's okay no worries good evening Dr infield board cabinet last weekend I had the chance to represent the Chino Associated Chino teachers at the California Teachers Association state conference as an alternate representative for the district as a first-time alternate representative I had the ability to
visit a number of State caucuses and City on some general meetings and and the like as a moderate individual not considered Republican or Democrat I had the ability of sitting in on both caucuses and during that time I got to hear some very spirited opinions on controversial topics many that we discuss here in this room now but the thing that struck me is when
those caucuses left everyone represented the teachers not their caucus but the group as a whole during the time I had an opportunity to speak in front of the 700 person conference on two topics that affected our members I was very careful to cover both sides of the topics and give the information needed for the voting body to actually
proceed what struck me though was that at one of the conferences a video played a dark moment for our district where a state superintendent was removed from the meeting the entire weekend I had to spend the entire time telling people that Chino Valley is not that BS not to use the term that we saw on that videotape during the
session our our individuals here in our district are amazing our association's amazing our teachers here are amazing our parents I'll just ask everyone as we get through the election cycle as we start getting the rhetoric going here keep in mind that what we say at this Podium represents everyone in our district and I hope that as the spirited
rhetoric comes out tonight with our controversial topics that everyone will keep in mind that our actions and our words have repercussions for everyone no matter how you feel keep in mind that there are people on both sides of the fence in this room and while I haven't chosen to speak on these particular topics I encourage everyone here to keep
in mind that it's not just us in the room that are hearing these tonight these things are broadcast across the country and I am sorry but I don't want to be associated with the district that has that negative opinion of people across our wonderful State because Chino Valley is not about politics it's about our students teaching and being an
amazing District thank you for talking tonight have a great evening thank you before we move on Dr anfield I would like to do like a point of information SL clarification I know it's come up many many times with the fun club and a lot of us uh do not agree with the way that we have to proceed with this
program but I would like you to clarify with the community why it's that decision that we have to continue in in that direction because I I feel like our hands are tied and I just want you to clarify what we found out yeah those those are uh if I'm correct it's state program and there are requirements that
we need to follow through the state as the funding for that program and so we can't deviate from that um and so we follow those guidelines and and I know it may be frustrating for our parents uh but those are those are guidelines that we have to follow so it doesn't appear that the state's program is Equitable and the guidelines they make
us follow as Equitable for all students yeah they identify uh the priority that we have to go through uh identifying students uh based on certain criteria thank you for clarifying that because that was something that a lot of us board members got a lot of messages on and I feel it's very important for the community and to know why we have to
continue in that direction even if we don't as a majority feel like that's the Direction unfortunately um okay so we'll go on uh to changes and deletions the following change deletion is on the agenda item 3c1 student readmission case 23 24- 47 is deleted from the agenda there are no further changes or deletions thank you so much
we're now on to action items and the first item is 2a1 it's a resolution 2023 22460 opposing the Biden administrations Title 9 overhaul and subsequent elimination of vital protections for women and girls it's recommended that the Board of Education adopt resolution 2023 20246 opposing the Biden's administrations Title 9 overhaul and subsequent elimination of vital protection for women's and girl women
and girls Reagan are there any speakers yes 13 thank you Oscar ailla followed by manuk Gregorian followed by Jose CIO good evening president sha Dr anfield School Board cabinet guest um yeah I'm I'm in favor of this uh resolution I know it doesn't um change the law it doesn't change uh what the government has done but but it gives parents a
voice you know and we talk about Equity right Equity something that we talk about and we've heard about it today and I think it's important but what happened what Title 9 did when the Biden Administration when they changed Title 9 they changed the wording on it and they went from sex you know biological girl from sex to gender so it means that any
boy biological boy if he wants to be considered a girl he wants to play on girl Sports he could do that and and now it's a federal law that you can't discriminate you have to take that boy's word for it that means that he could use the facilities he could play against girls you know and the reason why it's
important right not only is that a safety issue it's a moral issue it's something that that that this Title 9 was was was uh created about 50 years ago and it was created to develop girl Sports before Title 9 girl Sports were pretty much unheard of it was like about 3% girls didn't play sports right so Title 9 gave the girls the opportunity
gave them the platform to be able to play sports and have a future I'm not a rich guy but I've already had people that have contacted me that are recruiters right my L to play sports right so I'm hoping that maybe she'll be good enough somebody will see her and she'll get some money for college right but if there's a boy that's better than
her and that he ends up taking the line night because he he says he he's a he's he um then is a girl right uh this boy could literally take my daughter's place you know and Title 9 was created to protect girl Sports there's always Federal funding that's set aside for boy Sports and for girl sports right so so
when you change the word in a Title Nine that means that some of them funds taxpayer funds that we pay for right now this money is going to be used to support boys that want to pay in girl sports right so what you're doing is we talk about Equity you're talking about you're giving the girls less Equity
you're giving women less opportunity to play sports and get scholarships and maybe like myself I'm not a rich man right but but if she get a scholarship it'll take you to college it'll change your life right you're talking about not being able to to pursue your dreams why because somebody said they were a girl they're a biological boy we know there's
a difference right you know we're not you know we're not idiots right you know there's a biological difference in bone structure and muscle mass and size and height and strength you know so we could play these games like the government is right but we know that that's wrong so so I'm just saying you know thank you for for bringing to not not every parent
knows and I wasn't very aware of it until I looked into it so I I I think title n the way they the wording was changed is a bad thing we should always protect women's sports protect their safety protect their future protect their health so thank you for being it up and I'm all for it thank you next mon
rorian followed by joseo followed by Maria Coro can we go on with our speakers can we set the clock please you there we go good evening board thank you um my name is manuk Gregorian and I want to honor all the the Fallen Soldiers during the D-Day and after and all the soldiers that are in the military right now we have one second
one minute of moment and silence thank you everybody um I stand with United States of America to stand with United States of America you have to stand with the flag you got to stand with the country and you got to protect your women and your children as a real man my job is to protect my family and
my children I'm all for this uh this resolution being a father of four daughters this is very sensitive and close to my heart I'm all for protecting our children that's my number one goal but to have a man enter women spaces that's wrong women fought very hard to have equal pay Equal Rights Voting Rights and all of a sudden they're
letting men get away with what they want to do they're overriding women's rights and you have a man bunch of dads here who are trying to protect the women's rights where is all the US soccer team US basketball team when they want to get equal pay with men but they don't want to stand for men not entering the
women's spaces and women's locker room and women's bathrooms this is wrong this is wrong in lot of families eyes and this is wrong with the God's eyes so do us all the community favor please and pass this resolution and make it AOW with that I thank you and God bless you guys and I wish every school district
has the backbone as you guys do thank you next Jose CIO followed by Maria CIO followed by Christine Salazar good evening esteem board and committee members um I'm just here as a concerned father husband a proud elen Empire alien Empire member and um I just thank the board for uh bringing this resolution up it's very important that uh that we're
bringing to light what's going on right now there's people who are living under a rock right now who have no idea that title 9 has been changed they have no idea that their daughter's scholarships are in Jeopardy they have no idea that their daughter's um safety is in Jeopardy I think it's absurd what the Biden Administration is doing right now
and it's trickling down down to here down to Chino Valley down to uh La down to uh surrounding communities it it's a shame it's a shame that they're doing this and it's a shame that there are fathers in Parks schools um Sports uh uh memberships that are allowing uh biological males to play in their daughter's Sports so as a proud father
of the illen Empire I think it's uh imperative that we bring to light what is happening right now in our country what is happening here in Chino Valley and unless um like uh you live in Iraq you don't know you don't know you know what's going on right now Caitlin Clark is like the biggest thing in in the
WNBA there would not be a Caitlin Clark right now if a boy if of LeBron James just walks on the NBA uh WNBA field or court and and just uh uh starts playing against some girls there won't there will not be a Caitlin Clark if you guys know who she is she's the number one draft pick she broke records all over
college and now she's in uh female professional uh uh Sports uh killing it so there will not be a Caitlyn Clark if uh America the United States and fathers uh don't start taking a stand and and I'm not a public figure I'm not a public speaker as you can tell but I'm a father and I'm a I'm a husband and I'm a
Community member so that's why we're here to just uh say thank you for this resolution and to say shame on you anybody who opposes this why why is this building full right now because this is not a middle ground issue this is black and white this is right and wrong it's wrong to allow biological boys to play
in girls Sports it's wrong I don't even know what else to say it's wrong thank you next Maria CIO followed by Christine Salazar followed by Molly large um good evening board um first and foremost I want to thank you guys for being courageous and having the determination to continually stand against um all the damaging and wicked Global agenda happening all over against
our children and all the kids in every community and in every District policy after policy you stand to prove that this District cares about parental rights and every child's well-being from removing pornographic books to restoring trust with parents and now this great resolution to stand against Biden's lunacy of changing title9 your Fearless approach has all the weak men and Sacramento FASTT
tracking bills like ab1 1955 and inviting deceiving and pathetic start Witnesses from this District that just that just shows that you guys are in the right track thank you for being real men and Sonia thank you for having better balls than new some the Attorney General BTO and the lame super superintendent that was here um I also want to bring
forth and um thank uh all the men that stood for D-Day I appreciate that the gentleman um brought it out fourth and I just want to read real quick from uh Franklin Roosevelt our president our our president it says our sons pride of our nation this this day have set upon a mighty Endeavor a struggle to preserve our Republic not
our democracy our religion and our C civilization and to set free all suffering Humanity children that are being deceived and Li to and confus are the suffering Humanity right now so with that I'm here to applaud your diligence and common sense to protect the innocence of the youth and standing with absolute truth that girls are girls and boys are boys
and that they both deserve to be respected and be protected thank you next Christine Salazar followed by Molly large followed by Daniel silvas hello um I'm here to support this resolution as the parent of boy girl twins who are both um seniors or becoming seniors at aella high school and on the varsity track team I have a
unique perspective watching these two kids grow up together side by side um my daughter has always been 20% bigger to the exact percentage her entire life of her brother and she was a strong girl she's a great athlete um but when puberty hit my son suddenly became much faster and stronger than my daughter they're both on the
same track team obviously divided by women and men and they do the same events my daughter's team broke the aella High School record for the 4x400 this year they went to State and they took fourth place in the state of California for the 4x400 Relay their time was 3 minutes thank you their time was 3 minutes and 50 seconds
my son also does that same relay for a yellow high school and their time was 3 minutes and 41 seconds and they didn't even compete in CIF so that just it's just an example of how women and men are not equal in sports I am a parent who believes that we should be inclusive of all children um you know especially these children
who are dealing with gender identity issues sports are meant for everybody but to include these kids does not mean that you push out another group and that these girls are not protected I don't know what the answer to it is I don't know if we need to create a whole new category for these kids to compete but we all saw in Oregon
there was a boy who beat this the state record in high school for track or actually was a trans trans kid who identifies as a woman but biologically a boy and at this competition they took first place and I was just really heartbroken because the girl who took second place was devastated but not only that the entire audience is booing this
other kid and this is a child as well and nobody's protecting this kid either so by allowing this kid to compete against the girls they're not being protected and so who's taking care of this kid the answer isn't just to allow this child to identify you know however they are and compete against a different category it it it's not fair
for the girls and it's not fair for any of these kids so I figure I I think we really need to come up with a new solution um but I do want to thank you Bard for creating this resolution and and keeping our girls protected and giving him the opportunity to compete at a fair level that's it next Molly large followed by Daniel
Silva followed by Paul Griffin good evening board Dr Enfield Chino Community I would like to start by wishing you all a very joyful pride month you may or may not be aware that June is pride month in memory of the Stonewall riots of 1969 which became a Tipping Point in the fight for equality i' would also like to wish you
a very happy juneth juneth commemorates the last freeing of enslaved people in the United States specifically in Texas more than two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed today you are considering a token resolution to indicate that you are in disagreement with updates to Title 9 protections against discrimination harassment and hostility based on gender and sex-based
attributes these updates to Title 9 will shift how we address sexual harassment and assault allegations while expanding protections for lgbtq plus and Pregnant students they provide protections for um they provide support for victims of Violence by removing the live hearing mandate for those of you in opposition your girls please address the board sorry your girls if they were victims of
sexual assault under the old Title Nine laws would have to face their AC their perpetrator in a live hearing this change eliminates that title 9 makes it clear that no one should face harassment or discrimination based on who they are who they love or how they identify it does not not by the way address transgender students in
sports nor does it address transgender student use of rest of restrooms those issues are still to be decided by courts by the NCAA and by CIF instead the title 9 simply ensures that schools must address any unwelcome sex-based conduct that is so severe or pervasive that it limits a student's equal access to an education it's hard to understand how anyone let alone an
educational institution can find fault with something that protects children Chino has an anti-harassment policy listed on every page of the district's website it says the district prohibits discrimination intimidation harassment or bullying based on a person's actual or perceived race color ancestry national origin nationality ethnicity ethnic group ident ification immigration status Age religion marital or parental status physical or mental
disability sex sexual orientation gender gender identity or gender expression just like Title Nine harassment is defined as words or behavior that threaten intimidate or demean a person tonight I urge you to vote no on this resolution next followed by by Crystal guys please be respectful guys time's up not interact next speaker [Music] please good evening can you guys hear me
good evening everybody Chino School Board trustees Chino Community my name is Daniel and I want to say thank you for your resolution on 2 A1 um as a parent and proud Uncle myself I got three beautiful daughters and one beautiful niece and they're of age right now where I'm teaching about basketball and soccer and I dreamt of this day
where I could train them where they could be good at their Sport and go to college in a full scholarship ride but but today because of federal you know Biden um and his changes of certain laws and stuff that that dream that I had to share with with my family might might be shattered might be destroyed um I don't see my oldest
daughter going to college on on a sport scholarship because of this because um Bo are different biology different type of Beast that could beat them on Sports you know so so we got to find a solution you know for these girls out there but I I want to thank you guys you know for doing everything that we could at the
local level and and again you know thank you for everything God bless everybody next Paul Giffin followed by Crystal followed by Misty s we hear on almost a daily basis from Pastor Jack at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and other right-wing and leftwing pundits on media forums the internet everywhere warning us about the enemy but who or what is this enemy is it the
stranger well we're all strangers to one another in some degree in fact it's that strangeness that uniqueness that endear us to one another so if it's not the stranger who is it is it the one who thinks and believes differently than we do oh no my friends the real enemy is fear the true enemy is ignorance the enemy is the one
who tells you you must hate that which is different because in the end that hate will turn on you and that same hate will destroy you to sha Cruz and na you can bear witness to how hatred corrupts your own Christian identities instead of following Christ and standing for righteousness you followed Pastor Jack's message of hatred of anyone who calls themselves a
socialist a progressive or even a Democrat you want to create a Christian America that is true to the Constitution a government free of government overreach and needless interference in the day-to-day lives of our citizens I mean Trump and his Maga followers advocate for it and you like them have become obsessed with rooting out and destroying this enemy but what you have failed to
understand as the first rule of the ftic when you become obsessed with the Enemy you become the enemy you've taken governmental positions of power and chosen governmental overreach interference in the family's lives of transgender citizens I had three transgender students at Don Lugo last year and all three of them just wanted to be accepted all their families knew that
they were transgender but the policy you did last year forced us forced them to reveal private medical information to their teachers and administrators some of which they didn't trust and one of my students even attempted suicide this year Christ decreed that we love one another not judge one another the three of you and Monroe all claim Christ to be your
savior the one you follow but if you believe these children those who just identify as transgender as the enemy I instruct you to listen to what Jesus told you to do love your enemy and the fear that you have of these people that they're going to take over men's sports it hasn't happened and never will when it does then then address it
meanwhile thank you next Crystal followed by Misty s followed by Mark s good evening um I didn't I don't have anything prepared tonight CU I feel like my mind is just all over the place just in awe that we even have to come here to defend women's sports um and that it is happening all over men are taking over
women's sports so for people to say that it's not they need to do a little more research um cuz it's happening and as a mom of three two being women or little girls um I thank you for this I am grateful that you guys are bringing this up because it has to happen I have a little girl
she played U soccer last during the regular season and I was watching her games and cheering her on and then I turned around and went to my nephew's U soccer games and I was mind blown even just at 8 years old the difference between like them competing I was like this is crazy just the amount of energy
and aggression and just like they're good like really good and I just couldn't imagine if my daughter starting so young is having to compete against boys it's not going to be fair and she loves to swim and she's already thought about wanting to join a swim team what happens when she's changing and sees a little boy's privates what happened to sexual
harassment what what's the definition of sexual sexual harassment in the workplace if a woman this happened they would be in trouble right why is this okay for children but not but not adults like this it I can't that's why I couldn't even write anything because it's Common Sense where has it gone you're a boy or you're a
girl and nobody is hating on the transgender Community they're just saying play with what you are and don't take away the rights of these innocent girls and women that want to compete and want to have a chance and want to get scholarships and want to move on because he's right that girl that's killing it in basketball we wouldn't even know her
name if men were trying to take over so thank you for this I appreciate it I appreciate you guys and I like someone else said I wish a lot of other school boards had a backbone like you guys so keep keep up the good fight you do have a community that we're here to back you guys up so thank
you next Misty s followed by Mark s followed by Nai sagato good evening board and Community Title Nine was written 52 years ago and it states no person in the US shall on the basis of sex be excluded from participation in be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program so what has changed from 52
years ago for whatever reason the Biden Administration has delusions of grandeur believing they are God and can magically change the definition of what sex means it is it has been male and female from the beginning of time but now in 2024 it's suddenly being decided by a select few that it should be different these few are trying to erase
males and females Al together and are trying to create some kind of unigender with that said men in women's sports is all about cheating it's about trying to cheat the system they know they can beat the women because of the pure science behind male and female genetic makeup I have no problem if you want to be a different gender I have no problem
with that that is not the issue but you need to participate in the sport that correlates with your biological sex otherwise we're undoing the Decades of work that have been done on behalf of true equality for women my 15-year-old son can always and has been able to run circles around his five older sisters and myself in just about every sport
that we participate in as a family and without even having to try it's in his nature so I am grateful tonight that our board supports the original Title Nine that acknowledges the differences in gender and was written to protect our girls our daughters our granddaughters our sisters our nieces leave our girls locker rooms and sports scholarships alone there is no discrimination in one
to have our daughters succeed and to do so against their equal peers and same sex I love what the lady said our girls deserve to be respected and protected where is the respect anymore so thank you for respecting and protecting our girls with this um policy thank you next Mark ask followed by NA Salgado followed by Heather
Peri good evening boor Bo and members of the community uh my name is Mark and I'm a father of six um I have five daughters uh six ones a son you heard my wife and um they've grown up in the Chino in Chino Hills this is where we've raised our family this is where we love uh the
community and have been members of this community for 24 years so um our daughters have been involved in sports throughout the years in U high school and growing up in different Community Sports and like my wife said our son has a definite Advantage so I can't imagine if like our daughter in high school either in swim or water polo or soccer would
have had boys come in and say you know what I think I'm going to play over here on the other side because now they would definitely have an advantage or they would have lost that opportunity to play so it is about fairness um the easiest way is going to be just to go back to science XX XY maybe we have to do a
blood test for everybody that goes into high school I don't know and then that's where you play are you on txx you on TX y okay that's where you go but it's basic biology it's all it is so I support the board thank you next Mar Lisa followed by hea Heather Peri good evening to the Board of Trustees to
president Sonia Shaw and to superintendent infield and to all the uh the community my name is Nel Salgado and I'm a concerned parent here to show my support for this resolution I want to thank you for putting forth this resolution and for your courage to stand up for Girl Sports uh this is nothing against any other group this is about
what is right and fair for girl Sports we all know that there are biological physical differences between male and female bodies that that taking any amount of hormones will not change male bodies will always be stronger faster and more powerful than female bodies and will have more endurance than a female body and in an article that I read and
I'll paraphrase some of the the items states that how males are always taller and heavier than females with a greater leaner body mass muscle and bone with less percentage of fat Mass males are 17 to 18% heavier than adult females they have greater lean body mass despite less body fat female athletes typically have five to 10% more body fat than a
similarly trained males larger muscle mass is directly associated with u greater muscular strength and power that uh males are stronger and more powerful than females with lower body fat percentage and larger and stronger muscles males have a large power anerobic or aerobic to body mass ratio than females that is be uh and because of this it is dangerous for
girls for these girls young girls and women to compete against any male bodies uh and the same with their spaces these young girls also deserve privacy and a safe space for them to change in and and use so I thank you for this resolution and I urge the board to vote to adopt it thank you next H Peri last
[Applause] speaker good evening board I just wanted to thank you guys for this resolution also thank you for standing up for our girls and sports where they'll continue to get a chance to keep competing uh with each other on an even playing field um I my daughter myself and many other friends we benefited greatly from Title 9 just growing up doing sports all of
our Lives um I'm still an athlete now and um I can't imagine having to deal with what some of the girls um are dealing with now of just training and training it takes hours of training and dedication years of trying to get to a state spot a CIF spot and then to get there and to know that you're not first
or you're not second your your place is taken by a boy that's something that I never had to my daughter um who graduated just 3 years ago never had to encounter so I really thank you uh for this um um also women's sports is so special because before the men had all had all the sports had all that stuff
there was no one for us to look up to so it's been amazing growing up as a little girl seeing professional women athletes it's like wow this I can do that this is something I can do because we're on the same playing field she can do that I can do that and so just to name a few uh
shakeri Richardson is an Olympic sprinter that's an amazing person to look up to if she was competing with the Olympic men we wouldn't have shakeri Richardson we wouldn't have Tia Clair Tumi or who six time uh strongest female athlete in CrossFit that's amazing to be able to see that as a woman to woman biological women want to see that so
encouraging so amazing and then um just also the UCLA women's softball team they're going to the Women's World Series because of Title 9 the women have a World Series before that was just male only that is so encouraging for young girl biological girl softball players to know that we can do this and those girls got there some of them got them on
scholarships most of them probably did and none of that was in danger so thank you so much for standing up for girls that they don't you know won't have to be put in a position in a locker room to have to do they have to go into the stall to go change do they have to go outside do they have to go to their car
all those things stuff that I did not even have to even think about and these girls shouldn't have to either so I am speaking up for some of the girls in high school and Junior High now who they might not like it and they're just not speaking up and saying that they don't cu because they're thinking well this is
how it is there's nothing we can do about it so thank you board for standing up for girls and standing up for girls Sports thank you so much thank you and thank you to all of our speakers with that said may I have a motion thank you Mr n may I have a second second thank you Mr Monroe we'll
go ahead and use the light system board members any comments questions discussions go ahead Mr na wow let me see talk can you hear can you guys hear I can hear you yeah yeah um it's amazing that can't turn on I think it's on sorry just not working not working let me get that one for you though here
okay I'm yours okay well uh this is really embarrassing to talk about um this resolution this should not be an resolution this is ridiculous we have been teaching our children k28 I mean k to2 our biology and um basic science classes for 12 years and unfortunately some of the adults has forgotten their basic science class curriculum they're totally
forgotten what's the makeup of man and woman it's embarrassment as our student speaker said the boys and and girls are made differently from the beginning and this should not be an issue we understand that we play different roles we have different strengths we have different positions in different sports we must protect the woman's Sports and this Title 9 new overhaul
proposal is completely against common sense and basic science I don't know who's thinking and why they're thinking maybe I want to ask Dr anfield if our biology curriculum is lacking something so that so many adults forgotten what this silence course was about we need to start a new program new curriculum maybe called somebody said Common Sense curriculum beginning to from K kinger
Garten to uh uh High School 12th grade and bring back the common sense back to our culture back to our lives again so we could live a normal life life again this is a completely a nonsense when do we have to worry about people created problems like this and this is sadly we can say government created problems interfering the
parental rights and safety of our girls so I am going to support the re resolution opposing this ridiculous nonsense government interference to our children's Sports thank you thank you Mr n Mr Bridge thank you as a former history teacher when I saw this resolution I thought of a quote by Ronald Reagan in 1980 presidential debate against Jimmy Carter where he
said there you go again which he used as a way to imply a person or opponent was engaged in hyperbole or hysterical comments that's exactly what this resolution seems to convey to me because my research on these new amendments does not specifically reference this resolution there's an article from the Associated Press from April 30th called Republican states challenge new title 9
rules protecting lgbtq students mentions three lawsuits filed in Alabama Louisiana and Texas and I believe since that date more other states have also filed lawsuits but only the Alabama lawsuit said these amendments conflict with their state laws regarding around harassment bathrooms parental rights and more the Louisiana lawsuit said this policy change cannot help but sound the death nail for female sport didn't say
it was going to happen just speculation on that lawsuit's part those are the only two mentions that I could find to do with female sports in an article provided to me earlier this week uh link provided to me by Dr Enfield new title 9 regulations what's changing for California TK through 12 schools in that article I could find no
mention of what's in this resolution that we're debating on tonight so I know some of you are probably thinking well it could happen here because right now I don't see it but How likely is that based on this community I mean I could say it's going to rain tomorrow but How likely is that going to happen so with
this I wonder either we behind the game or ahead of the game but I don't see anything in this resolution with what's going on with the title 9 regulations which are going to go in place in August so to me it just seems like this resolution is all show and no do but the next agenda item will deal with the
second part of that word thank you Mr Bridge here we go again making excuses not to make the right decision um the light system anybody else inro Cruz it's not working okay go ahead it's not okay no we had a supreme court that um wasn't able to to identify for you two in the back wasn't able to identify what
a woman is hold on Mr Chris if I hear or see anything from you two in the back you guys are now removed it was these two I keep watching them and I see that back and forth me to that's your warning one and the one behind you who keeps engaging is warning one for her too go ahead go ahead Mr
yeah okay so this resolution is here open and transparent because it's of public interest I'm not one to fly things under the radar hoping no one notices this but the opposite I want issues of importance to come before the board and the public and have the hard conversations openly if your approach is to hide important issues and not bring them
before the public then you're not taking your rule seriously enough this resolution needs to be discussed in public so that interested parties know what is at stake and you know the model is California and now all states are like California so um we have to be vigilant and proactive especially for you know definitely for our children so
I definitely support this thank you Mr Cruz first I want to say we have laws we have policies and like one of our um speakers said it's all over our website we have laws in California that protect gender identity it does not need to be in Title 9 let's go back to the original intent of Title 9 and I will read it for
you as one of our other speakers was so graciously able to educate everybody on what Title 9 was originated for Title 9 is a the federal civil rights law passed in 1972 as a history teacher Mr Bridge you should know why Title 9 was passed it wasn't to protect TR any gender identity issues it was to protect women
biological women and I'll be honest you you take stabs a lot and you say here's another one well here's another one why you won't do the right thing you have daughters you were a softball coach how embarrassing that you're waiting for something to happen for you to do the right thing to say it's not happening here here is absolutely horrific because
I want to tell you it does happen here that boys go into the girls locker room you're father you have grandkids when is enough vote with your heart and stop voting with your party I don't vote with my party actually I call out our party my party all the time so let's go back to Title Nine it's
a federal civil rights law passed in 1972 that prohibits schools that receive federal funds from discriminating on basic of sex sex not gender remember that gender identity was put in there and they're perverting everything just like they're doing in Sacramento ab1 1955 and I'll get there at the closing comments the law contained 37 words and that was it no person in the United
States shall on a basis of sex be excluded from participation in be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assist assistance and then the the the political cartel of Sacramento the political cartel up there in Biden perverted it and they put gender identity in there when they have laws to
protect them these are women these are girls until this day Mr Bridge can you answer a question are you okay with the 12-year-old seeing a male's penis in the bathroom are you okay with the male going on a girl softball team and taking away those opportunities for that girl so just because you may have not heard it it does happen here do the right
thing I don't think we even point this fact out me doing having conversations with PE me uh people 6% of Fortune 500 CEOs are woman 90% were athletes in high school what does that tell you perseverance hard work how to take a loss you take that away you take away everything from a woman being successful women's rights stand up these are women
these are girls you know I heard Riley gain say they were waiting for their dads to come into the locker room and save them from them being able to see a male's penis fuling intact dressing in the locker room and that male taking away their right and she said she waited and waited and waited for their own
fathers to save them until she realized it was not their fathers to save them it was themselves girls I Empower you to walk away walk away because when we stop it stops we need to tell our daughters that when they get on a field and a boy's there or they get to go race and a boy's there if they get on that Mark to
jump into that pool and the boys there you Empower those girls to walk away because when they walk away it stops and that is period dot right there we have to tell them they on the inflection point of Title 9 Title 9 was meant for their rights nothing else we allow people to pervert these things and then
we expect the public because they're always deceived to just follow in oh it's to protect people it's to protect these people it's to protect this group it's to protect all and then you hear this rhetoric of oh Sonia's a Christian white National is she hates transgender she hates this you know what it's disgusting that teachers in our district
tell kids that I love them and I don't want them to commit suicide they need their parents so they don't go into that closet at night and commit suicide are you going to be there in that room if that kid is deciding if they're going to put the Rope around their neck oh but you knew about it and you didn't tell
their parent shame on you this is not about feelings of those boys this is about feelings and opportunities and the safety of girls don't act like it's not happening guys it's happening all over California we've seen it don't act like it's not happening in the United States just because California made it a law does not make its right
and it actually doesn't make it technically legal because constitutional rights were always always there too and if we have to challenge it we challenge it I've been challenging this prior to a board member way prior 2022 I sat up that Podium just like you as parents and I talked about the overhaul from Biden's admin and when I had the opportunity to
bring it up because I'm still fighting it behind the scenes you better believe I'm going to bring it up and inform our public because there is community members that do not know a boy can go into a girl's locker room there's community members that know do not know that a boy can enter into that girl sports team and it's wrong we love all
kids and we are protecting all kids and just like the other speaker said where's the protection for that child when they're booed that's not to them either we as adults failed all those children so when is it enough enough I would hope Mr bridge that you do the right thing in this me in this moment because you are
sending the wrong message please don't wait until you have a lawsuit on hands because districts all over California in the United States are being sued and they are experiencing a loss of money is there any other speakers comments seeing that there's none we'll go ahead and take vote all in favor I I any opposed no thank you the motion
passes with a vote of four to one okay we're going to proceed and we're going to item 282 resolution 2023 2024 64 okay give me warning one please guys this is not a classroom and obviously I'm not a teacher and I do know that and I'm not credential I get at I didn't go to college don't worry I
got it covered I told everybody okay we ready item 282 resolution 2023 2024 64 opposing the governor's 2024 2025 May revised budget for violating the State Constitution and reducing school funding recommends that the Board of Education adopt resolution 2023 2024 64 opposing the governor's 2020 4 2025 May revise budget for violating the State Constitution and reducing school funding
are there any speakers there are none thank you very much um may I have a motion so moved second thank you Mr NW thank you Mr Cruz any comments questions discussions go ahead Mr Bridge thank you Mrs Shaw this should be a no-brainer the school funding part of the state budget affects every single student every single employee teachers classified staff and
administration Mr Shaw here's your chance to get back at the cartel at the cabal and all of the disgusting legislators you so describe in Sacramento before anyone says or thinks didn't the governor strike some type of deal last week some type of agreement on school funds let me remind you what I learned during my years many years of
negotiations and that is it's not a done deal until it's a done deal until we see the final budget package it's a good idea to let them know that this resolution that any manipulating of prop 98 funds and calculations will not be tolerated as Governor Schwarzenegger found out in 2006 when CTA filed a lawsuit one won the
repayment so with that I ask my board colleagues for a yes vote on this item thank you thank you seeing that there's no other comments or questions lights all working nothing I think so okay we'll go ahead and take a vote all in favor I any opposed the motion passes with a five to zero vote item 2b1 public hearing regarding

was the first item on my comments tonight and that's the fact that uh as I said earlier being a history teacher today is a very special day in the US and world history June 6th 1944 D-Day when Allied soldiers stormed the beaches at Normandy along the coast of France leading to the liberation of France and eventual defeat of the
fascist regime of the Nazis and Adolf Hitler that led to another important date coming up next year May 8th because on 1945 that's known as V day which is Victory in Europe so I appreciate the uh and I would also request that we uh adjourn the meeting with a u moment of silence in in memory of those that uh
we lost on that day uh next item I'd like to congratulate aala Junior uh Daniel Benson on being named the Inland Valley daily Bolton's Inland Empire swimmer of the year uh he during the CIF division 2 individual championships he won uh the CIF 50 yard and 100 yard freestyle events so congratulations to him also congratulations to the yala and Chino
Hills boys baseball teams from taking it to the Southern California Regional playoffs and winning their first round playoff game last week I had a chance to go by the Chino Hills game against North Hollywood um very exciting and as warm as it was getting I was glad there was shade there uh also I want to congratulate the
four girls softball teams from Don Lugo Chino Hills aala and Chino Hills or excuse me Chino high for making it to the CIF divisional playoffs out standing performances by all and I think it's something that uh we all should be proud of with both our women's and men's teams in this district and then uh finally make sure I have my notes
here I just want to say congratulations to all of the seniors on their graduations having been able to attend all four graduation ceremonies at the Toyota Arena and the bua Vista and adults School ceremonies they were all terrific um well done and congratulations to the uh uh Administration and staffs of of those schools for putting on uh just
outstanding ceremonies and I think all the parents were were equally proud and uh as you can see moving it to the Toyota Arena was a result of the vote by the uh community and the students and I think it worked out uh pretty well uh with that uh hope everyone enjoys their rest of their summer and that concludes
my remarks thank you thank you Mr Bridge Mr n yeah um I'd like to thank all the parents that uh who came tonight to speak against the title 9 resolution overhaul thank you so much for coming tonight uh speaking out uh for your children uh it is it's so unfortunate you have to fight for your own children
nowadays uh because if you don't do that no one would come and and protect your kids uh it used to be a government's job it used to be a trust in a government system it used to be a a school district where you could trust uh and leave your children in a safe place but it is so unfortunate now it requires
your participation your involvement to protect your family members but thank you for coming tonight and and showing your heart and your love for kids thank you and we must never stop doing that thank you I'd like to thank also a parent uh Alice um who has been our student at Chino Hills High School I was invited to her
uh smon ceremony of becoming a brand new uh lawyer and in Riverside County uh just happened yesterday and it was such a proud moment for not only for her parents but as a uh School District person as a uh people in community we need to be really proud of our uh uh children that who has grown up to be adults and and becoming
successful all because of our great teachers and our our people that who's involved in education and many things are happening um in our school district and we can all say that Chino Valley is very special place I'd like to thank um especially those uh leaders in school sites um after attending school graduations especially at Buena Vista as
Mr Bridge had men mentioned um principal Kyle Schuler the students said ay one principal made school like a home a second place a a place of hope for people that who thought they would never receive a second chance but one individual a one young principal had given those hope for those kids uh among graduate students I I had
seen a a a student with a little child in her hands receiving a diploma with gracial hearts because now she has something in her hands to find a career or move up to a secondary education so thank you for all your hard work at um B Vista uh high school and also C arol we had wonderful principal Lori
Warner she made whole campus like a big uh birthday party for uh eighth grade promotion day and it was a great celebrations uh tons of kids received Awards and it was a really really a meaningful day uh one of the vice principal or her name was Amber her own child went to school and she said even she feels like uh she's a parent all the
time because school is always alive and and exciting for her so thank you for your your servitude for multitude for our children and I would ask all of our parents when you see our hardworking teachers and and principles in the school please thank them because they really deserve them and that will be my comments for tonight thank you
thank you Mr naw Mr Monroe I just want to congratulate um all the graduates this year and give thanks to the teachers and staff that uh worked hard this year made it successful for our students uh I hope everybody enjoys a great summer and looks forward to coming back next year um lot of lively discussion tonight I
think um some of the things I just want to highlight real quick we talked U we had speakers on special ed I'm going to continue to to advocate for change in Special Ed I know going forward uh there's very me meaningful discussions um that are coming and uh with the with the idea of change to make that better so I would just encourage
them to be patient and to continue to keep the the lanes of conversation open and to work with us to make that uh a better program to better serve our students and our staff um that's that's all I'm going to say tonight thank you Mr Monro Mr Cruz I just want to share with you um this Saturday family and Fish Wildlife
Festival Saturday june8 2024 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at PR Regional Park um Chino Val is going to have a booth there'll be a total of 50 vendors there so last year there was like 2,000 people so this is a great event for um family events things like that and thank you Mr Gallagher um mentioning um June 6 you know I had I had two
uncles um one uncle came home Albert Cruz and the other one didn't come home his name was Lutheran Cruz you know Wars are hard Wars are hard and I know it hurt it it devastated my father's side of the family and um you know it's yeah Wars is Pretty Tough Mr Gallagher I appreciate that you're bringing this up
and my father was very quiet never discussed these things practically his other brothers never discussed this stuff but I but I want to let you know that man I'm proud Mexican and I'm all my family tough Mexican fought the wars my father was in in the in the service Les we're proud to be Americans and they all came from Texas San Antonio Texas so
I appreciate that thank you you know our school board last summer decided that parents have the opportunity to know what's going on in public school system and we voted to protect parental rights children from the agenda of Sacramento to indoctrinate our children to influence their area of sexuality that our school School boarded overwhelmingly community support our school board favor in protecting our
children by reestablishing parental rights but we have AB 1955 prohibiting parental notification and the whole reason is to stop the spread of parental rights throughout the school districts so I just want to share that they're they're scared they're scared that this thing will just fly like wild F so we have to thank our community the board and
everyone in California supporting this that's it thank you Mr Cruz superintendent Dr Enfield I just have one comment uh the district is in the process of moving to our new district office off of Ramona and uh every week we have a couple of different departments moving so if you're looking to come down to the district office please go to the website we have all
that information uh posted on there uh to to tell what location uh the officers the offices are at currently I know this week we have technology special education and CIS is at the new district office uh next week student support services and a couple of other departments I can't remember off top of my head uh will be moving uh so
if you just look um again on the website uh because I don't want people to come down here and we're over at Ramona so that that's it thank you Dr Enfield um and I guess that leaves me first of all congratulations uh to all of our retirees reminds me I need to get back to you really quick um but also to all
of our appointments hopefully everybody is on the same team of just making sure our district keeps continuing in the path of supporting our parents and doing the right thing even when it's hard um we will never all agree but the fact is we do need to come to some kind of uh agreement to move forward for the best
of our kids and I I do want to say I hear all over um about our district and the great things that are being said and the the thanks and it wasn't it's not just to you know them giving us the thanks The Thanks goes to everybody else who's implementing the policies following the policies teaching our kids
um our teachers do an amazing job look at how while a lot of districts are degress we're progressing we're moving in the right direction and that's because we're clearing the noise and we're trying to make sure our staff and our teachers and our community heard and then we're all helping the students get from A to Z we are supposed to be
helping them graduate did you know that we're one of I think the only three maybe clarify are we not the one of the only one of three that actually require 2.0 to graduate in California isn't there something like that in is it San berino or California somebody recently told me that and I was blown away that most districts don't require a 2.0 to
graduate that probably could be correct that's insane but you know what that tells you when we hit graduation rates too is we hold the standards high but we help those kids through the process and helping the kids through the process yes there's broken homes yes there's broken parents but we allowed them we gave them the opportunity to be part of the
process and we seen when we seen that they threw their hands up in the air on their child we were able to step in and give that to them and I think that's a great thing right I come from a home that that happened too and um even my own brother who was an athlete we didn't have much growing up and my dad was
working 7 to seven seven days a week and guess who was there to Mentor him it was his coaches and teachers and he had some pretty awful Behavior but they've always afforded my D my dad the opportunity to be involved and it was my dad who said I trust you to go ahead and you know help my kid and that's where I think uh you
know I I find Value that our our district is still able to do that regardless of the noise um graduations I know a teacher pointed out um like she likes to do many times that I wasn't on um the the graduation list to speak well guess what I was on one of them and I was caught by surprise behind the scenes
in gown ready to go on stage and they somebody said something hey Miss Shaw you ready for your speech and I'm over there like oh my gosh I'm speaking I had no clue honestly we don't even make up the graduations and how they go we have no hand in that we don't tell them we want to stand up there shake hands I
take that as an honor I value that I shake every kid's hands and I wish them the best of the best I pray for every one of those children to go out and be great leaders and to me I find that so valuable that we got to be part of that but never would I ever want to take that
from any teacher or counselor in fact many of you can vouch I invited the counselors to come stand next to us like come on like this is you guys you guys are the ones that got them we are the ones that supported you guys to make the decisions to allow you to do what you do and your expertise we're a team and and
that's what's beautiful I mean to me this is a community this is what we need to continue in our community has been an example and I'm so very proud of the the majority of our community I'm so very proud of each and every one of our students that walked across that stage and now um have the opportunity to go
out into California or the world and do something great right um Chino Hills High School baseball team huge gr congratulations with their big CIF win I know there's a lot of sports teams that win um and I just want to you know congratulate all of them and our track athletes we've seen at many high schools some of them that the of these kids that
are very close to me great athletes it's just exciting to see that we have the top in the state and all things and that's a true testimony of parents and the the staff and the coaches working together with the direction of our cabinet and our superintendent so thank you um our kids are successful and it's so cool to see them you know be honored
in that in that way um don't worry I will end with honoring I already planned it it was already in my notes so I just want you guys to understand that before I get to the next but I also want to make it a point um to bring awareness to something else um I know we hear all the
time about you know us being sued about the parental notification policy and it was an a legal a legal policy well why in the world would Sacramento need to bring up a law ab1 1955 to make it illegal why did we get sued why aren't why aren't most of the community or most of California raising their arms up and
saying hey Bon you owe our district money you owe Liberty Justice money why are we not doing that we need to put the pressure on and you know when it comes to voting we need to vote these disgusting Sacramento cartel out of there because if we just turn our face same thing happens over and over Title 9
it was meant for women and now it's meant for everything and everybody else and it took away exactly why a title n was created right it's time to wake up look I would never want to put a teacher in a position of knowing something about a child without giving their parent the opportunity to know that too that is
wild and weird we have great teachers that would never want that responsibility it's a partnership when a mom or dad or Grandma Grandpa Aunt Uncle anybody who is the guardian of that child drops that kid off at school no way in the world can you tell me that the majority of those parents are saying bye Susie I
hope you keep a secret from me today no and just because the child didn't tell the parent doesn't mean the parent is not a safe parent that is BS and any teacher telling them that any District telling them that any group or organization you're safe with me pins all over no that is wrong I was told don't talk to an adult and keep secrets
with an adult those adults are dangerous that still applies to today it's very perverted to say your parents are dangerous and I'm not dangerous that's weird um so yeah with that said it's time the line has been drawn in the sand I I want you guys to be aware of 18 ab1 1955 it was described as the safety act
in schools again we're deceiving the public they think you guys are stupid wake up tell them you're not stupid I don't believe you're stupid the majority of the community is not stupid don't let them deceive you okay because you see it's a ruthless agenda to break up families the school is not the family although they play a huge role families
are the ones that have that right over that child that parent has a constitutional right don't let them strip away that right from you because once this goes into law yes people will challenge it but guess what it takes years and that is ripped away and you see public education the trust is declining declining declining and that
breaks my heart because we have a great District but you see it when we say something they just create a law to stop us here at local control you voted Us in right the community spoke whether we win by one vote or we win by 300 or we win by 3,000 you guys voted so all the people that say you only won by 317
votes well guess what 3177 people decided that I was the better fit for the community so thank you 316 or 17 that I'm constantly reminded for making sure that you were at those voting pools um with that I just think the political cartel's hypocrisy they know no bounds it's a rule for the not for me we see
with ab1 1955 they are breaking all rules in Sacramento to push that bill through it's not following any rules they're breaking all of the hearing rules all the committee rules they're breaking them they're pushing it through because they want to make a statement in June that they want to parent the child not you wake up it's time it's time
we're exposing them but you got to do your job at paying attention we can't use that notion of we didn't know that was what four years ago I did not know but I I know now and obviously a lot of us are taking the sacrifice and the beating so you can know so please pay attention to what's going on as a
parent term Schoolboard member I've witnessed firsthand how the majority of our elective officials are systematically dismantling public education instead of prioritizing education the majority of kids in California are failing at Reading Writing and math why why is our Department of Ed focusing on everything but education that is wicked and that's wild and that's weird all while voting
uh running for something else it's just bizarre to me our kids need to be taught how to read how to write how to do math back when I was in school we were taught to be critical thinkers we were given the tools to actually think on our own not to the tools to or or the actual thing to say here you're supposed to
think this way you're supposed to do this way it's absolutely insane one of the most alarming is examples right now is ab1 1955 you guys wake up they are using every tactic they are out of control this and yes I agree we're rep public but this democracy they claim where's the Democracy when you're pushing everything out I mean you see
the people that have the biggest voice in there they're being taken off of committees because they piss the people off what is that that's weird that's not right remember you have a constitutional right in the upbringing of your child stand up let your voice be heard because you know four years ago three years ago here when we first started as parents
speaking up your voices were heard don't stop don't let them discourage you I know it gets hard and and the the very thing that keeps us going are those beautiful children we are there for all children we're protecting all children we don't want the government to own our children that's insane and if you don't step in now that's their
goal with that I will go ahead and let us all get out of here early but I do want to say to today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day Landings when more than 150,000 Allied soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6 1944 bursting through German Coastal defenses to open the way of the liberation of Western Europe from the Nazi regime I
know people up here on the podium tried to put in their buzzwords but it was in reality from the Nazi regime that needed to stop and and you heard what one of our speakers said when pre president Franken um Franklin D Rose r Roosevelt addressed this and announced the invasion he said they fought not for the lust of Conquest Conquest they fought to
end Conquest they fought to liberate and with that said I want to take a moment of silence in the memory that all of those soldiers sacrificed so we can continue to have our freedoms that we need to stand up so boldly and bravely for they had courage their courage is courageous and we need continue that so I will ask for a moment
of silence and with that said and with that silence I now
