district business to uh again to Boise Cascade Office Max and uh a million dollars was paid to Office Max 50,000 to that board member he went to jail for that the district as far as I know never recovered that money in 2009 the board voted to approve a budget reduction plan to close two schools uh that caused a

considerable problems as well which cost us some money uh We've faced criticism for multiple years for public prayers uh board member Cruz and N remember that one uh the Calvary Chapel Chino Hills was in on that one in July 2010 they rep a resolution to introduce Bible as literature and history courses at its four high schools which cost us

boys to go into girls bathrooms and locker rooms does anyone want to keep student information from parents does anyone really want to see harm come to Children the answer is no nobody wants any of this you can trust that parents obviously want to be informed if their child is experimenting with their gender identity and we should trust TR those

parents at the same time a trans student says they don't want their parents to know there might be a good reason we need to trust that child when we dismiss the child's worry because their brain is still developing we are telling that child we do not trust you why should a child trust a society that does not trust them the trust or

lack thereof will give those children today it will affect them for the rest of their lives now let's talk nuance people who self-identify as trans make up only about 1.1% of the American population so this new law affects only maybe one in a 100 families for the trans student who wishes to use a bathroom or locker room other than the

one uh for the gender they were assigned at Birth they must first prove that condition they must have one year of psychological counseling consistently plus six months of gender affirming uh care before they're ever allowed to use the bathroom or locker room room other than the one that they would be assigned that is a high bar they have to they

have to believe it themselves they have to convince their parents they have to convince a psychologist and they have to convince a doctor we need to trust that child if they say this is what they're going through now I can't imagine anyone working at a school who wants harm to come to a child we want trans students

to tell their parents but if the student is fearful parents need to trust the school that we will counsel that student and have them want to share this with their parents but if still the child doesn't trust their parents we need to trust that child's appraisal of their parents if a child keeps a secret like this from their parents then the parents

need to recognize that the trust issues they have with their child on this point you can trust anyone working at the school has no desire to hide anything from their parents we are being cautious because no one wants to see harm come to a child to fix this issue we need parents to trust the following one trust the science and medical

counting inflation that's like two decades ago if you added inflation on those they would probably be much higher today the uh superintendant back in that time were asked to help reduce those fees and and I know um the first couple of years uh the fees um were not reduced but uh it was still kind of a priority
