education meeting at 6:34 p.m. And next up is the comments from our student representative, Miss Gabby. Good evening, board president Shaw, members of the board, Superintendent Enfield, and distinguished guests. Hello. One year ago, I was given the opportunity and the privilege to begin my journey as a 2024 to 2025 schoolboard student representative. Now, my time has come to an end. Being in this position
was an amazing experience. I would like to thank all of you for attending my meetings and listening to my report to hopefully get some insight of the schools from a student's perspective. Additionally, I would like to thank the board for being so kind to me during this year. Thank you guys for always being so welcoming and making sure that
I am comfortable um being a student in the position that I am. Um from sitting and speaking at these meetings, I was able to learn so much about the process of running our school district. I am so grateful for all the amazing conversations and encouragement from everyone, especially with it being my senior year. I appreciate all the great
moments and all the fun times we were able to have. Um, as for the new school board student representative, I wish you the best of luck during both your senior year at school as well as um, here on the board. Make the most out of your experience and always remember to be yourself. Moving along, I would like to
extend a thank you to all the nurses and cafeteria staff who are recently recognized for their dedication to ensuring that our students are taken care of in their important roles. We appreciate you all so much. Finally, congratulations to all CBUSD students on just about completing another school year. Your hard work has paid off. Thank you all so much for all the support and
have a great rest of your evening. Thank you. Before we move on, we're just going to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation to Miss Gabby as she concludes her service as a student member of the board of education. Throughout her term, Gabby exemplified what it means to be a student leader. Thoughtful, composed, and deeply committed to the success and well-being
of her fellow students. Her reports to the board have consistently focused on celebrating student achievement and highlighting important events. Always delivered with clarity, grace, and purpose. She carried out her responsibilities with poise and professionalism, earning the respect of her peers, educators, and the board members alike. As she steps away from this role, we want to thank her for her
outstanding leadership and service. Gabby leaves behind a legacy of excellence and integrity, and we are confident she will continue to make a meaningful impact wherever her path leads. Thank you, Gabby, and congratulations on a job exceptionally well done. Thank you again. We're going to miss you, but we know you're on to really amazing things. And next up are our
comments from our employee representatives. We have Steven Frasier from ACT. Hi, good evening, Superintendent Enfield, school board and community. I'm here along with Sarah Palmer, ACT Secretary. We're honored to acknowledge some of our uh members as well as our uh graduating seniors who've won some scholarships. So, um last night we had our California Day the Teacher event and
we announced our educators of the year and so we wanted to share that with you tonight. Our first educator of the year, they're probably not here. They're probably homeg grading to be honest, but if they are, um, we invite them to celebrate with us. Um, we have our elementary teacher of the year, Georgina Schaefer. Can we give a round of
applause, please? Additionally, we have our secondary teacher of the year is Amber Fellows. Congratulations. Our nurse of the year, Christa Irwin. Portesi. ACT Counselor of the Year is Annette Allen. And last but not least, we have our SLP speech and language pathologist of the year, and that is Christine Fee. Congratulations. What makes this even more special is
they were nominated, of course, by our own members. So, we congratulate them. And now on to our retirees. I'll try to make this brief. There are a lot of them, but we want to acknowledge them tonight. Um, we have Jean Doy with 31 years of service. We're going to be clapping a lot tonight. I appreciate it. It's a
It's a day of recognition. We have Deborah Hawk with 11 years of service. service. We have uh Janelle Sheibba 13 years of service. Arecelia the VeZ Lynch 27 years of service. Mary Lisa Davis, 22 years of service. years. Laura Keane, 25 years of service. Hopefully your hands aren't getting tired yet. We have Anthony Alanis with eight years of
service. We have Lauren Heiser, 36 Anita O'Donnu, 36 years of service in our district. And last but not least, Adriana Cardinus, only 42 years of service. Congratulations. And with that said, I'll turn it over to the ACT secretary, Sarah Palmer, who will now honor our uh senior scholarship awardees. [Applause] All right. I'm honored to be here tonight to recognize some of our
winners. Um, if any of you are here tonight, I would love for you to come up to receive your scholarship and certificate from ACT. We have first Sarah on. We also have Derek Linenburgger. [Applause] Give you a break. Lost my paper. We have Malaya Reager, Braden [Applause] Straan, Gianna Garzinelli, Angelo Gibbs, Ellie Scranton and Ryder [Applause] Reyes. We know many of our scholarship
winners are not able to be here tonight. Many of them are finishing up. Thanks for their senior years. Um we are very proud of being able to give them these scholarships and being able to do this as a union. So, thank you for letting us present these tonight [Applause] and thank you for doing that tonight. And now we have Danny Hernandez
from CSEA. Good evening, President Shaw, board member, Superintendent Enfield, Cabinet, staff, and community. Um, like you mentioned, Miss Shaw, this time of the year is always exciting for everyone with the military salute, the promotions, and graduations. It's also so close to the end of another school year. I wanted to congratulate all all the promotional staff or students and
especially the class of 2025. This week is the week of May 18th through the 24th is California School employees appreciation week, but it's also the week of CU CVUSD school activities. Each year, Chino 102 has given an item to show our appreciation to the work classified staff does each and every day. Chino's Chino 102 is delivering to the sites these
appreciation beanies that I've left for each one of you guys just to show a little something towards of appreciation to our staff. I'd also like to congratulate ACT on getting their tenative agreement approved so quickly. Chino 102 hopes to get it completed just as s fast as and bring it to the board for approval as well. With so many things going on
lately, I was unable to coordinate our unsung hero recipient this for this meeting. We will have the presentation at the June we hope to have the presentation available for the June 4th um board meeting, board of education meeting. Lastly, tonight, the board is going to vote for the approval of an agreement with Allegiant Steam Academy. Throughout the year, I've been
following up with classified staff at the Alternative Education Center. I'm not sure if the board is aware, but aware of some of the issues that be been going on at the site. There's been property damage. Some clerical staff have been trapped by some of the students that had gotten out of this Allegiance STEM Academy. A few certificated staff and
administration members have also been physically assaulted by students from the site. Also at AEC, in the past, it primarily was junior high and high school students primarily there, but now they also have elementary students on the site. Maybe thisouou needs to have the input of the AA AEC staff and administration. This is not to say that we don't agree or don't want allegiance
there, but it's the protection of all students and staff. Maybe a campus security guard or a campus guard at the gate would help. Thank you very much. Thank you, Danny. And now we have Eric Dstrom from CHAMP. Noble and selfless decision, and we are deeply grateful for your willingness to protect and defend the freedoms we all cherish. Thank you for embodying the
values of leadership, dedication, and service. You leave a powerful legacy at the Chino Valley Unified School District, and we know you will continue to make us proud wherever your path leads. We salute you today and always. Thank you, Eric. And now we're on to public comments. Pat, how many request to speak? 31 request to speak. Thank you, Patai.
Board bylaw 9323 meeting conduct establishes the guidelines and the following process applies. Speakers, you will be called in the order you registered on the electronic request to speak device. Your name will appear on the monitors. Please line up behind the clearly marked numbers behind the mic immediately. The timer will start once your name and topic is fully stated.
Once the recording secretary announces the first name, request to speak will no longer be accepted. And again, the timer starts when the name and the topic is fully stated. Before I call um Mr. Cruz to explain the public com comment guidelines. I just want to be very clear in the middle you'll see number one and two when the speaker is up there. Please
line up one and two because as soon as you approach the the time starts and we want you to get your full time. Um Mr. Cruz please. Speakers cannot donate your time. Two minutes. Two minutes. One minute. One minute. If you read on behalf of an absent person, that will be considered your time. The timer starts when your
name and topic is fully stated. Please refer to board policy 1312.1 for the procedure regarding complaints against an employee. The first speaker is Amanda Swagger on a non-aggenda item. [Applause] Good evening board president Shaw, Dr. Enfield, cabinet, friends. In just over a week, my 17th class at Chino High School walk across that podium. And it's amazing to see so many amazing scholars
walk across that stage and graduate. As we do that, we tend to really focus on those students who are going to attend four-year universities and community colleges. But I also want to recognize those students who made a choice instead of going to a four-year or a two-year college, chose to enter the workforce, whether that be through a trade school,
a business, or just working for their family. We tend to forget about those students in the rush. And I encourage the school board, the district and leadership to really focus on those students because going to the workforce, going into the military and other aspects are valid reasons that we should support, not just those individuals who go to a 4-year university.
2A1. Thank you, board. I'll keep this comment short. As someone who sat in the same seat as Gabriella nearly 25 years ago as a student representative on a school board, I can't I can't say how much it's been a pleasure having you here and having you with your positive message. And as we welcome Miss Kim in soon as our new representation, I really
really encourage her to keep that tradition going. It's amazing to see the perspective of students. It's something we soon easily forget. As teachers, we have in our mind that we're here to teach students, but sometimes the students can teach us just as much. Congratulations on your year service. Congratulations, Miss Kim, for her coming year as a board member. Thank you
everyone. Myra Maldonado on a non-aggenda item. I am here today to speak on behalf of myself and my daughter to make it undeniably clear how deeply disappointed and disgusted I am with Chino Valley Unified School District special education department. I have attended 19 IEP meetings and not a single one has resulted in a meaningful resolution or real support from my child. Despite
repeated efforts, documentation, assessments, and advocacy, my daughter continues to fail. not because of her disability, but because the district refuses to provide the services and accommodation she legally and ethically deserves. I have sent multiple emails to several of you sitting here today, including Sonia Shaw, the president board. Emails were sent on February 26, March 4th, and April 9th, laying out
specific concerns, violations, and desperate pleas for action. Not one of those messages was acknowledged. I was ignored. It sends a loud message that our voices are item. Good evening board. Uh on the information item, we are looking at mathematics as far as the adoption of of new material. I just want to make sure the board understands that the state
tests that we give are designed to enforce Brown versus Board of Education. We want to make sure there's no discrimination happening, which means there are going to be test questions asked that these students are not going to know the answers to. And we're looking to see is there discrimination? Are certain classes, certain groups getting preferential treatment? We need
to stop teaching to these tests because as long as we continue to teach to these tests that are not designed to test whether or not our schools are performing, but whether they're not discriminating or not, we're missing out on the the teachers just can't teach what we know they need to know. We're not focusing on the education. We're
just focusing on meeting the test performance and that needs to stop. And I hope you guys can can Daniel Sarmento on a non-aggenda item. In February, Kevin Hammond voluntarily resigned as head coach in order to protect our girls water polo program from an unwarranted accusations that would have disqualified them part from participating in CIF. His selfless action on that day is evidence of his
unwavering dedication to our children. Good evening board members. My name is Daniel Sarmento. I've been with Ayala Water Polo for three action-packed years. You may remember me from the time we were discussing this construction situation at our pool. Uh tonight, I advocate for the reinstatement of Coach Hammond because of his dedication to your student athletes, because of the
community he brought together in our Valley United Water Polo Club, and because of the athlete alumni network that he makes possible because of the strong relationships he forged over the years. I will keep this brief as many uh members of our community are excited and enthusiastic to speak on his behalf. All I humbly request is that you consider
the athletes and parents here on his behalf and remember that we request this at a Steven Figueroa on a non-aggenda item. Steve Figeroa, education advocate and uh I I'd like to I'm here to speak for those who have no voice because you have scared them away. So congratulations that you don't even give the rights that you enjoyed in Redlands when you had
somebody standing next to you and you name names and everything else. So you you don't even have that decency. You have a lot of people who usurp the word of God who come and praise you whenever you want, but they don't even champion the rights of special education kids. And that's why we're here and that's why what's probably happening at the STEM
school that the that they're talking about because you're not meeting the needs of special education kids which result in behavior problems. So, you know, we could come to you over and over and you could bring all your churchcoming people, but you are still harming children with disabilities. Uh you uh I'm coming to you to ask you meet
with us. How many times do we got to say that? You don't even answer the calls or emails of parents. We've been begging to meet with you, but instead you champion what you champion while ignoring the special needs of students with dis Coach Hammond has always been a dedicated member of the school's coaching staff, serving the Ayella
community with countless hours and all for the development and enrichments of our student athletes. Sadly, and to my understanding, Hammond was never officially investigated, which is a gross negligence of justice that should be promoting fairness to those accused, no matter their circumstances. At the time, it was believed that Hammond had the support of the school principal, Diane Yaroy, or at least her outward
appearance resonated with support to the water polo families. Yarvoy made it appear then as though she was looking into the manner by allegedly following up with CIF for an official report, but after many weeks, we have not seen any official report. According to new information, we have since learned that CIF did not have a formal investigation and the claims are dropped. On May 6,
Yarvoy sent an email to the stakeholder stakeholders of Water Polar reiterating that Hammond had resigned from coaching on February 6. She shared concerns about the departure of our esteemed coach and she wrote, I quote, "Coach Hammond's leadership has been invaluable to our student athletes and parents and his absence had left us with uncertainty." She further wrote that the primary
Jordan on a non-aggenda item. Good afternoon, members of the board. My name is Jordan Dhunko and I'm here today because I strongly believe our water polo coach should be rehired. Coach Hammond has made an lasting impact not just on our performance in the pool, but on our growth as teammates, leaders, and individuals. Under his guidance, we didn't just improve our record. We
became a stronger, more united team. He pushed us to reach our potential while always supporting us with fairness, dedication, and integrity. Coach Hammond cares about this program and the students in it. Losing him would mean losing more than a coach. We'd be losing a mentor who has helped shape our confidence, and resilience both in and out of the water. I hope you'll consider
the real difference he's made and give us a chance to continue building this year. Thank you, Alice. On a non-aggenda item. Continuing with Rebecca's speech, she further wrote that the primary objective was to ensure continuity of our water polo program and to replicate our previous successes and that they were actively seeking a water polo coach to join the team. She also wrote that she
would be distributing a formal letter letter to inform parents and student students which has yet to occur. Of course, this was another shock that she did she need not wait any further because from my understanding she was well aware that coach Hammond was both willing and ready to come back as head coach and the athletic director Warren
Reed is willing to hire him back. Her email is interpreted as another misdirect and misrepresentation of her intentions. Nonetheless, to get the bo to get to the bottom of it and address rightful concerns, boosters scheduled a meeting with Yar Boy on May 8th. During their meeting, Yarboy openly shared an email that was sent to her from a person
who, to our knowledge, has no affiliation with the school, but yet he made his recommendation to terminate our coach. One might wonder why one person has Ava on a non-aggenda item. Good evening, members of the board. My name is Ava Utterbach and I stand before as an incoming freshman representing my fellow water polo athletes. If you truly
care about us, our program, and what's best for the student athletes, I'm asking you, please re reinstate Coach Hammond as head coach of our water polo team. Coach Hammond has already made a lasting impact on me and this community. He's helped me grow more confident as a player, always encouraging and challenging me to be better and never
settle. I was genuinely excited to start high school and play for him with high hopes of completing a CIF title under his leadership. I dream of playing at the collegiate level and I know Coach Hammond can help me prepare to reach that goal. It's really deflating to think we're heading into the offseason without a coach or a clear direct
direction. So, from the bottom of my heart, I ask you please bring back Coach Hammond and his staff. Do it for the athletes who believe in him and his program. Thank you, Priscilla. On non-aggenda item, this is a continuation of the other letters. I'm Priscilla Garcia. So, one might wonder with one why one person has developed such a disdain and actively
seeking to destroy another man's name, credibility, and reputation. But Yarbor hasn't stopped there. In this meeting, she added new allegations against Hammond and now our booster team alleging a misuse of booster funds with Hammond's club, Water Valley United. Another baseless claim for stalled tactus and to continue with a smear canteen against now more innocent people. It is to my understanding that
the boys and girls water polar boosters have operated with full transparency in dealing with both Ayala's administration and the district. Allegations that are acting as a front for Valley United are not found unfounded but also deep deeply damaging. To excuse them of misrepresentation with substantial evidence is misleading and a defamation of character. A pattern is definitely starting to develop and the appearance
is that uh Y will believe that she hear Nandar on a non-aggenda item. I'll be continuing the letter from Rebecca which is deeply concerning as school officials should know how harmful rumors can be and should do everything to dispel unsubstantiated rumors from circulating. Your boy has hasn't been transparent with Illa community and it is evident that she doesn't have the
best interest of the water polo program. However, Ruben Ayala's athletic director Warren Reid has been supportive of our student athletes and program. We have seen him in support at league games and CIF games. He knows many athletes by name and has celebrated their accomplishments and success by attending banquetss and sharing in conversations with them. He has a vested interest in
our athletes and we believe in his partnership and he is ready to hire our coach back which is in the best interest of children to ensure the continuity of our water polo team. However, I can't say the same for Yaro who in the last three years have yet to see her step her foot on the pool deck. But yet she and
here tonight and is holding all the cards to get this program up and running. Again, the appearance is clear and she doesn't care about our program. Annie non-aggenda item in Rebecca's line of work for over 25 years. I know how many how rumors can spread and leading to destroying good reputations. Rumors fuel the misdirects fuel the misdirect so that
involved parties feel defeated spending countless hours defending themselves which can often lead to innocent people backing down. I also know parents may feel apprehensive by being vocal in coming to the defense of Hammond and other members of the water polo program in fear that more warrantless claims will resurface will surface or that their children or themselves may be a
target. However, as parents have to continue to still in instill in courage in our children to take action to protect their interests and to support those who are being criticized and and treated unfairly. Therefore, I stand with Hammond and his reinstatement as coach. I met Coach Hammond on the eve of my son's freshman year and my son is
well into his junior year now year now. He has never played water polo at the time and he may have been been a bit insecure to wear the require Kieran on a non-aggenda item. Good evening. Good evening, members of the board. I am Kieran WQ Queen and I'm asking you to rehire coach Hammond. He believed in me when I didn't believe in
myself. He taught us more than water polo. He taught us discipline, confidence, and how to be accountable young women. Miss Yar Boy told us that he is not the team we are. But she is wrong. We are a team because of him. Coach Hammond brought us together, gave us structure, and helped me through one of the hardest years of my life. Taking
him away before CIF has left us lost. He is not just our coach. He is our mentor and our role model. Please bring him back. Thank you. [Applause] Die on a non-aggenda item. I witnessed board president Shaw's behavior this weekend towards a 16-year-old transgender athlete at the CIF prelims in Yorbal Linda. And I'd like to put it
on record. Miss Shaw's group claimed they came to cheer for the girls competing against this athlete. As the day unfolded, it became clear they had actually organized a coordinated campaign to harass a 16-year-old child. I did not witness them cheer for a single athlete. However, when the transgender athlete would start warming up and take her turn, Miss Shaw and her
group began loudly jeering and trying to psych her out. They referred to it as being on vocals. Miss Shaw, in particular, would yell, "That's a boy." just as the athlete approached to make her jump. A woman in Miss Shaw's group at one point commented, "I can see his bulge." describing the athletes genitals. I was shocked and appalled and
told her that was inappropriate, but she went on saying, "I can see it. It's right there." Felix Melendez on a non-aggenda item. Good evening, President Shaw, Dr. Enfield, Board, Cabinet. My name is Dr. Felix Melendez, and as I bring my career to an end, I'd like to thank some people in the valley. In Dr. In 1987, Dr.
Glenna Ramsey hired me as an English teacher at Ramona Junior High and then at Ayala High School. Mike Conkins brought me to his leadership team. Dennis Gideon allowed me to shape my leadership style as principal at Chino High School. Former superintendent Wayne Joseph brought me back in 2010. I served with a leadership team that signed on as a team but became
family. John Miller, Patty Custodio, John Ashby, Mike Hinkle, Jasmine Norman, Sally uh Jarvis Lubie, Rachel Pitman. I'm indebted to their honesty, their help, their friendship, and their support. I don't have enough time today, but I'll be back to finish what I had to say. Thank you. Christy Hurst, non-aggenda item. I am here tonight to address the alarming
behavior of Sonia Shaw towards a transgender student athlete. Sonia, your actions, repeatedly posting this child's name, location, calling on adults to protest them or not advocacy their harassment. Last Saturday, you showed up at a meet, heckled a child so badly an event was delayed, and your group was overheard making disturbing comments about the child's genitals. You screamed
at this child's mother, posted a video of it, and when death threats against the child and her mom were made in the comments, you let it continue. Your obsession with LGBTQIA youth is cruel and frankly weird. Instead of addressing issues parents and educators identify as top concerns like mental health, funding cuts, or access to resources, you fixated on bullying a vulnerable
population. You've called on Trump to pull the funding for California schools, refused community school grants, and said schools shouldn't feed children. Nothing about any of this is pro-children or pro- families. You claim you want to protect girls, but instead of taking on actual misogyny, which would mean confronting powerful men, you harass those more vulnerable than you. Least protected kids in our community to
make yourself feel less small. You are Monnique Tahari. Monique Tahari on a non-aggenda item. Joe Schneider on a non-aggenda item. I'm uh here representing 150 students and parents um of the Chino Valley Unified District. Um we have uh the Chino Hills Sharks. We are a swim club. I see there's, you know, ex sharks out here in the crowd. It's really
important that we uh support this team. Uh right now we were going through some rough times. Every time we get a pool, a water polo team comes in it. And it's not the high school water polo team. And you know, I understand that there's severe problems with with pool space, but it should be fair and equitable. Um,
we paid over $400,000 in pool fees to your district. $400,000. And we're sitting here driving to Fontana or out to, you know, Eastville or something begging for lanes. So, if you guys could please help us get back on track as a swim team. You know, these kids are crying because they're losing their friends moving out of the district to other swim teams. We
really need help with a pool right Bridgets on a non-aggenda item. Good evening board, cabinet, and community. About a year ago, I came here and shared with you all about a wonderful opportunity Mr. Miller and I had conducted for our juniors and seniors at Chino High to learn more about the world of trades. We began organizing field trips to an amazing
local trade school for those students that simply just aren't collegebound. Well, I'm happy to share that this month we've had our third field trip since I initially shared about it. I believe as educators we have an obligation to our students to make them aware about the world of trades. I have always been a strong believer that trades are the
backbone of our country. Without trades, there will be a widespread and delays of construction projects, driving costs and even threatening our country's ability to meet infrastructure demands. So, I would really appreciate it if you all could help encourage the rest of our high schools to make information on trade schools just as important as colleges and universities. Trade schools
offer real rewarding pathways to success, and it's vital that our students and parents see them as equally valuable options alongside traditional colleges. Furthermore, Jim Gallagher on a non-aggenda item. Good evening. Process observation here. Uh, California government code 54954.3 says that any item on the agenda, the public must have the opportunity to address the board prior to or during the board's consideration
of the item. At a regular meeting, the public is also permitted to comment on matters not on the agenda. One minute is not enough. The board will often have the board president has to recognize the speakers and then proceed to comment uh as required. The board president may also rule on the appropriateness of the topic. We already know this. In Baka
versus Marino Valley USD, California court wrote in finding a school board could not censor particular speech at its board meeting. Uh, according to the California Department of Education School District Organization Handbook, at the hearing, members of the public may be recognized by the chair to speak. All remarks may be must be in gerine in the business and
musta Patel on uh Krisha Patel on a non-aggenda item. Pisha Patel, a current sophomore at Ayala High School, and I'm here to speak on the topic of the lack of zero period classes at Ayella. The district limits us to five zero period classes, but there's no actual state law, as they say, stating we have to stop at five.
Others districts in California already allow more than five, so why can't we? At our school, there are several courses that could be offered during zero period, but have had their requests denied because of this limit. Many of us are involved in leadership, sports, and other programs that take us out of class during the day. More zero period options
would give us the flexibility to balance our comm committee commitments while still pursuing the classes we care about. Students are asking for more opportunities and we are ready to take them. Upon making your decision, I hope you consider the voices of students who are simply asking for more opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. Thank you so much for your time.
Don Kumar on a non-aggenda item. Good evening everyone. Before I begin my speech, I'd like to thank the board for listening to what what I have to present. My name is Don Kumar and I am a current sophomore at Illa High School and I'm here to continue talking about the topic of zero period classes at IA. I am the current executive board
secretary at the school, Castle State Representative, club of numer president of numerous clubs and a plethora of other extracurricular activities. I mentioned this to rep to represent how students like myself who push ourselves to the absolute limit need a zero period class in order to in order to have the same academic rigor as normal students. Zero period provides us who have
impacted schedules to perform at the same academic capabilities as other students. We still want to give back to the community through our extracurriculars, but in order to do the following, we need more accessibility to zero periods. As as mentioned by our school counselors, there's over 110 people on the wait list for one AP lane class for zero period with only 30 spots
regularly available. I asked the board to look Beth Navaro on a non-aggenda item. Hi, I'm here on behalf of my son Roy Noah Sapiens who attends Magnolia Junior High School. On April 10th, the week of April 10th, 2024, he was physically burned by his one-on-one aid. I sent multiple emails to his my superiors and to the superintendent himself, and I have not
heard any response back in regards of the incident. The person who physically harmed my son continues to work as his one-on-one aid despite me requesting to him her to be removed. He's in physical harm. He's in harm's way. He is wheelchair bound. He has cerebral palsy. He's a non-verbal child. How can you guys allow this to happen? These kids
are special needs kids. They need the assistance. You guys are not paying attention and ignoring us, the parents. I'm here on his behalf because my son has a physical burn that now is scarred and it's never going to go away. I need there to be a change to re-evaluate the people that you guys are hiring to educate our kids. We
Caitlyn Mi non-aggenda item. Good afternoon. My name is Caitlyn and I'm a sophomore at Ruben Siala High School. I'm here because I was recently removed from the zero period AP language class. And due to the district's policy limiting our school to just five zero period classes with only one zero period available for the junior class, it is very difficult
to secure a spot that only 30 people are eligible for in a class of over 200 kids. I understand the policies are in place for a reason, but I'd like to share how this decision affects students like me. Zero period classes give us the flexibility to take advanced or elective courses that we're passionate about. For me, losing my zero period class means I
now have to sacrifice taking AP psychology, a class that I'm passionate about as an officer of the psychology club and one that could impact my college readiness and my personal growth. Many of us are motivated, hardworking students who are asking for more opportunities, not less. I'd like to ask if there's room to revisit or adjust the policy so more students can
access the courses. Really quick, I would like to do a point of clarification on the zero period. Um, I'll have the superintendent look into it, but there was a California law passed that we cannot allow kids to start before the 8:35 p.m. on high school, and if the class wasn't grandfathered in prior to that, they will not let us add any additional ones,
but I will definitely have them look into it. Unfortunately, that's a California law that they prevented us from having any additional zero periods, if that makes sense. I just want you guys to know it's it's a law that we're working with. I myself do not like that law. Ella Chang on a non-aggenda item. Hello, my name is Ella Chang and I'm a freshman
on the girls water polo team. This year was my first year high on the high school team and I knew from the moment I stepped on in for practice, it was going to be a great season. Coach Hammond and the other coaching staff created an encouraging environment, always putting us first and found game opportunities for everyone to improve. Being on the
frost team myself, I found that I improved greatly under their coaching and I appreciate them. Without coach and the assistant coaching staff, we wouldn't have been so successful this year. Coach Hammond is the core of our team and the assistant staff are the pillars. We kindly ask for both to be reinstated. Thank you. Peggy Lee on a non-aggenda item. This is
a continuation of the letter regarding Coach Hammond. With the approaching summer months, we know that many children do not have vacation plans or extracurriculars. For most public school children, their only summer outlet is high school sports, which is hosted by high school programs. Yet, Yarvoy is simply delaying in her efforts to get the program up and running by waiting to
announce that she is actively seeking a coach. We are less than two weeks out from the close of school. We don't understand why the district is allowing the position to remain open and unfulfilled. Uh considering we know that the athletic director, Warren Reed, is ready to hire Coach Hammond, but the hiring is being halted by Yarvoy. Yway
should be well aware that summer is upon us and not having a program in place hurts children's development and can negatively impact a child's well-being. The school administration should care about our children and ensure that they have a successful high school experience. But by allowing this uncertainty in our program to continue, it is becoming evident that our
children's best interest is not at the forefront. Yaro has had many months to address this, but it does not feel like a priority. In an effort to get this program up and running, she should allow her athletic director to do his Adriana Cardinas Icely on a non-aggenda item. Good good evening board members. Dr. uh Enfield and President Shaw. I am a teacher at
Chino High School and two years ago on May 11th, 2023, I sent all of you an email uh asking you if the best BST academy that got added to Chino High School was going to be ranked alongside our regular students when they became seniors. You sent me uh Miss Ashley Davis, AP for the BSD Academy at the
time to tell me BSD students were going to be ranked alongside the regular students. Your decision is against amendment 14 and the civil rights act. The BST students must take a more APS and other classes than regular students are allowed to take. It starts with the freshman year. BST students must take three AP classes. Regular students are only allowed to take two.
They're not given a privilege of taking a third. This goes on for the next go on. Jackie I want to thank Gabby Segoiano for having done such a great job representing the student body and Don Luga. Very proud of you. I continue to ask why are there no translators present for schoolboard meetings? We also have a large Asian community who is being
ignored by lack of translators. Miss Shaw spent Mother's Day weekend harassing a mother of a trans student because Miss Shaw does not understand a mother's unconditional love. Maybe instead of harassing and doxing a child from another district, you should spend your time fixing this district, working on your two supposed businesses, put your real estate license to use, and
actually hold Bible study so that the next time you write that on campaign materials, it can actually be true. The district has so many issues from outdated textbooks where George Bush senior is still president to incomplete construction projects to lack of resources. But Miss Shaw is just spending her time ranting on social media and being a bully. Stop being a
bully and get to work. Ceil Ceil How on a non-aggenda item. Good evening board. Um, first of all, I just want to thank you for for doing your job and uh what is often a thankless job. Um, I'm here um right now my oldest son who's a senior graduating senior at Chino High uh MVP and captain of the tennis team is having uh the
tennis formal right now. I'm here um just to speak up on behalf of um principal Yar Boy. Um, she was the second principal that I met when I moved here in 2015 and I hear the vultures and the sharks around her and I just want to speak up on her behalf. Um, she has great integrity and she really cares
about these kids and if my son wasn't going to Chino High, he would have been going to Ayala. Um, if not only because of her leadership. That's all. Thank you. Sonia Shaw on a non-aggenda item. I'm here as mom mama Shaw. Sonia Shaw. I am not the board member right now and I have free and moral agency to do what I
want in my own free time. And guess what? I started here as a mother advocating for students that ended up with the community having me there because I had the voice and the fight to put me in that seat. So when these people come to lie and I'm speaking as a mother right now and that teacher, if my
child was in that class, I would pull my kid out of that class so quickly. That is horrific. and horrifying to hear a teacher come in her own free time talking bad mouthing about people that way. I'm sorry. I'm embarrassed of that. But as a mother, I am not going to shut up. I'm going to continue to fight for
our girls and our students and our boys because they're being lied to. Girls are girls. Boys are boys. I will continue to fight. I have never screamed at a child at a track meet. That is a lie. I've never spoke about their genitals. That's a lie. They continue to um bash the lies. But guess what? If you follow my
social media, I post it all. I have nothing to hide about. I'm a mother of two Chino Chino High School actually Chino Hills High School students at Chino [Applause] speakers. Thank you. And now we're at changes and deletions. Patai, are there any changes or deations? The following changes on the agenda. Item 4 A4, page 162, student attendance calendar, Boys
Republic High School, is yellow sheeted. And now we're at item 2 A1, 2025 2026 student member of the board of education. Recommend that the board of education approve Phoenix Kim from Chino Hills High School as the 2025 2026 student member of the board of education and administer the oath of office. Board members, before we continue, I'd like to
share just a little bit about Phoenix. Phoenix Kim is a proud resident of Chino Hills and a dedicated student who has attended Oakidge Elementary Towns and Junior High and currently Chino Hills High School. Go Huskies. Throughout high school, he demonstrated strong leadership serving as a class of 2026 president during his freshman, sophomore, and junior year. He was
recently elected to serve as ASB president for his senior year. Beyond student government, Phoenix is also the president of the Red Cross club and a committed member of the Chino Hills High School varsity wrestling team. Passionate about learning and service, he is exploring future studies in legal studies, philosophy or religious studies, and possibly business. And now for the official vote before we're
swearing in, may I please have a motion? Thank you, Mr. Kn. And a second. Thank you. And any comments, discussions, questions from the board, Mr. N, did you have something? One second. Go ahead. Yeah. Um, this time I'd like to welcome uh not just Phoenix, but the Phoenix parents. Um, I think he's very fortunate to have a great parents uh guiding his
future and I hope that uh he could do a great job as Gabby did because she made a history for serving on school board as a uh student rep. uh from my recollection uh last 16 years she was the best one again uh through the support from not just by herself but her family where we have her mother I
think still here in the audience. Can we have uh Gabby's mom stand up? Yes. Thank you so much. And a dad. Thank you. And this time, uh, we'll relay that legacy to our new parents. Um, uh, Mr. and Mrs. Kim. Can we have them standing up? Thank you so much. Thank you. In reality, the education does not start
in Chino Valley Unified School District. It actually starts at home and it proves it for all years when we watch how the students grow and mature. It is our hope that their generation will be better than our generation and it takes lots of investment from our parts, the parents, the teachers and our staffs. So I always get excited to watch
our young people growing up and becoming great leaders. So again, I'd like to thank Gabby at this time and also welcome Phoenix. What an awesome name, Phoenix. Very uncommon name, but an awesome name. What I just told the parents uh about that. But um thank you for stepping up and someone has to do it, the leadership. And and I had uh told Gabby
too um after they would grow up to be a u adult and parents, they need to keep on that journey of being a leader and serve others, becoming a servant leader. uh living the love for more people and become a great farmers. So thank you so much. Thank you Mr. Na. And hearing nothing further, board members, please register your vote.
One more. Thank you. Preferential. Yes. Awesome. And the motion passes with the vote of 50. And now Phoenix, please approach the mic right here so the oath of office can be administered. So, solemnly swear I, Phoenix Kim, so solemnly swear affirm that I will support and defend or affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of
the United States and the Constitution of the State of California. the Constitution of the United States in the Constitution of the United States of America. And of California. Oh, and of California. Against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That I will bear truth, faith, and allegiance to the Constitution of the United States. Thou
will bear truth, faith, and allegiance allegiance to all to the Constitution to the Constitution of the United States. Sorry, I did that, too. and the Constitution of the State of California and and the Constitution of the State of California that I take this obligation freely that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation without any mental
reservation or purpose of evasion or purpose of evasion and that I will well and faithfully discharge and I will well and faithfully discharge the duties upon which I'm about to enter the duties which I'm about to enter. Awesome. Congratulations. Thank you. Would you like to stand for additional words? Um yeah. I just want to say um thank you
for this incredible honor to serve as student board representative and I just want to say I'm really grateful for this opportunity where I can represent like all these voices across the Chino Valley Unified School District and I just want to say uh I'm really excited to work with the district district's leadership and I really hope to make a meaningful
impact and so I just want to say thank you for your support and for your trust. Thank you. Awesome. And Phoenix did come with a high recommendation even though it's a rotation from our mayor from Chino Hills, Mr. Art Bennett. He spoke very highly of you. I want you to know and that means a lot when other leaders in
the community are speaking highly of you. The only thing I ask is since you've had president, president, president, and when you leave here, we're expecting somewhere down the line another president, right? You got to keep it up. But awesome. Congratulations and welcome. Like Mr. Monroe said, aboard. Okay, we're now on to item two. And you guys can leave or you can watch and it's
up to you. You It's totally up to you. We're on to item 2B1. Amend facilities memorandum of understanding by the by and between Chino Valley Unified School District and Allegiance Steam Academy Thrive 2025 2026. It's recommended that the board of education approve the amended facilities memorandum of understanding by and between Chino Valley Unified School District and Allegiance Steam Academy Thrive 2025
2026. May I have a motion, please? Thank you, Mr. Monroe. May I have a second? Thank you, Mr. Cervantes. And hearing nothing further. Any comments, questions, or discussions? Hearing nothing further, we'll go ahead and take a vote. Just waiting on one more. One more. Mr. Null. There we go. And preferential. Yes. Awesome. The motion passes with the
vote of five to zero. And now we're on to item 2C1, public hearing and ratification of the tenative agreement between the Chino Valley Unified School District and Associated Chino Teachers ACT for a successor agreement effective July 1st, 2025. It's recommended that the board of education conduct a public hearing and ratify the tenative agreement between the Chino Valley Unified School District and the
Associated Chino Teachers ACT for successor agreement effective July 1st, 2025. I now open the hearing at 7:33 p.m. Pai, are there any speakers? Amanda Swagger on item 2C1. Good evening board. Uh Amanda Swagger, Chino High School teacher, proud member of ACT here speaking on behalf of no one but myself on the ratification of this membership of this contract. Now
you say why I say it that way. There's a lot of confusion. First, I'm not a leader in ACT. I'm not a site rep. I'm not a I'm not on any committees. I'm just here as a proud member of our staff in our district. Given that many of our members aren't active in the in the things we do as part of ACT, many of our
members work selflessly day in and day out serving their students, whether it's at the elementary, secondary, alternative ed, or other areas. If this contract was just about money, I would have my butt sitting in that chair right there, not getting up here because we all like to talk about money. But the reality is that contracts are more than
just about money. They're about the people behind the contracts. First, I appreciate our district coming so quickly to the table and working with our association to bring things for us here as we need it as educators. One of the forgotten classes of educators are our special education teams. And our teams work so hard behind the scenes, countless hours. And this
contract provides them something that they've been wanting for so long, that secondary period to assist with the paperwork upon paperwork that they have to do with their IEPs and other documentation. But also, this contract brings other clerical things such as the moving of the athletic director position to an admin position. While I wasn't sure about this at first, I was convinced by
many of our members that this was a good thing for those positions, especially with their vital role in many of the education of our students and our people. But in the end, it's up to you guys to ratify our contract. And I hope tonight that we'll have a 50- vote to help support not only our association, but the proud people who make Chino
Valley Unified School District home, both in the classroom and out of the classroom. Again, thank you so much. Have a great evening and thank you for your vote on the contract. Thank you, Amanda. And no more speakers. So, I now close the public hearing at 7:36 p.m. Now for the ratification. May I have a motion, please? Thank you, Mr. Svantes,
and thank you, Mr. Monroe, for your second. Um, any comments, questions, or discussions? Seeing that there isn't any, we'll go ahead and board members, please register your vote. Preferential, yes. Thank you. And the motion passes with the vote of five to zero. The next item is 2C2 public notice and hearing regarding the California School Employee Association and its
Chino Chapter 102. Initial bargaining proposal to the Chino Valley Unified School District for a reopener collective bargaining agreement effective July 1st, 2025 recommends that the board of education give public notice and conduct a public hearing regarding the California School Employees Association and its Chino Chapter 102 initial bargaining proposal to the Chino Valley Unified School District for a reopener collective
bargaining agreement effective July 1st, 2025. I now open the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. Paya, are there any speakers? There are enough speakers. Thank you. I now close the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. The next item is 2C3. Public notice and hearing regarding the district's initial bargaining proposal to the California School Employees Association and Aino Chapter 102 for
reopener collective bargaining agreement effective July 1st, 2025 recommends that the board of education give a public notice and conduct a public hearing regarding the district's initial bargaining proposal to the California School Employees Association and it Chino Chapter 102 for a reopener collective bargaining agreement effective July 1st, 2025. I now open the public hearing at 7:38 PM. Pay, are
there any speakers? There are no speakers. Thank you. I now close the public hearing at 7:38 p.m. That concludes action items. Moving to consent items. Board members, let me clear that. Board members, if you have an item to pull, please indicate so on your mo monitors. For the consent items, may I have a motion, please? Thank you, Mr.
Naw. And a second. Thank you, Mr. Monroe. Board members, please register your vote. And preferential. Yes. Thank you. And the motion passes with a vote of five to zero. We are now at information items. Pay, are there any comments or questions, board members? Seeing that there's none, we are now at communications. Mr. Cervantes, thank you all for being here. Uh, it's
been a great week as we get ready for graduation and so many other exciting things to look forward to, especially for the parents out there that work so hard to get their seniors through and get them to graduation. That is no uh easy task. And part of that, I was able to have the opportunity to be at Chino
High School yesterday for scholarship awards night and was able to represent the district and give away some awesome scholarship to some students. see a lot of faces there and uh it was a great event and today was really special for me being uh first participating back here to see uh all those who are willing to serve and put themselves out there on
the line and defend freedom. What an awesome thing to witness from this uh seat to see so many young people willing to step it up and fill that gap. It's a it's an honor to witness. So, thank you all. Thank every uh want to thank every member of the military, first responders, my partners that are out there back in the back. Uh thank you so
much and I just wish you all a wonderful Memorial Day and enjoy your graduation coming up and have an outstanding summer and thank you for allowing me to be here. Thank you, Mr. Cervantes. And now we have Mr. Naw. Um yes. Um, I just like to say hello to Mr. Gallagher. It's been while it's good to see you tonight. Thank you for
coming, Mr. Gallagher. Um, again, um, we had a concern uh from a parent from special ed uh tonight. So, Dr. Anfield, I know uh she said she had sent us several emails. So, could we have our staffs just look into it and see if there's any way that we could help or or staff is aware of that and they're
working on that. Oh, great. Thank you so much with that. And also when our students are talking about they're seeking for more AP classes, uh I know sometimes our hands are tied, but if we could look at uh if there's any um ideals that's stemming from other district practices, uh I'd like to have our staffs also look
into that from curriculum department. Yeah, we'll look into it. Great. Thank you. And um last one, um I water polo uh uh concern over at Ayala High School. Uh let's have our staffs look into for their concern. um because it is our duty to make sure that all of our students are served in their best interest. So I
would like to also ask our district to look into that matter, Dr. Enfield. And lastly, uh I would like to thank Mr. Dog Balden at Chino High School. He's been a music teacher, band director for many many years and he has had last concert and I was privileged to attend that uh event. It was really moving because he had touched so many students
throughout years and many have grown to be an uh adults but he made greatest impact throughout his tenure. He was not just a teacher but true a father figure for our community. So I would really like to thank him as our teacher agreed there in the back. Um yes this is a graduation season but also season for thankfulness. We need to thank our
teachers. We need to thank our parents. We need to thank our friends. We need to thank our students. We need to thank people around us because once the day passes will never come back. So knowing that we need to um appreciate everything we have um there's a hope every day as our students learn and grow and show
us the future that we had dreamed one today and it's happening in Chino Valley Unified School District. So, thank you for all for coming tonight to to view your perspective so that we can hear your concerns and therefore we can serve you and our students better. So, thank you so much for attending meeting tonight. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Not and Mr. Cruz.
Dr. Enfield, hold on. Dr. Anfield. Yeah, I'm concerned with two things and that is the concern with the campus security issue at Allegiance and the student with the burn on her arm. So, if it's possible, you could see what's going on with those two concerns. And Gabby, you you've done a fantastic job with your um position. And
I've been telling Gabby that when she's done with her schooling, she should run for office. Back to her community and me personally, she should run for school board. I I I get the feeling since I've been here since 2008, she's has been the best. It's the way she comes across and her values where she's just she's not lukewarm. She's hot or cold
and that's good. So, I'm hoping that when she's done, she runs. And I feel that she would win. And I I've told Gabby this at least three times. So I hope Gabby that you run because you you will win Gabby after after you finish college you run for the district and as for me I will do as much as I can for
you and Mr. Naw and everyone else because you got it. You got something very special. I'm really serious. So if it's city council, school board, water, you should you got it. and and for Bridget um yeah this is this is great you know hopefully that you know we advertise trade schools you know and you know find solutions but you're exactly right
Bridget this is good and um you know I never I I've never um tried plumbing but I've always had an interest in plumbing and if I had people around me I may have been a plumber so yeah this is good to expose kids in the fields of trades thank Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Cruz and Mr. [Music]
Monroe. Just a couple things. Um, first I want to congratulate everybody that's graduating next week and um all the families that get to watch their students cross the uh stage and get their diplomas. truly is a a big step for your students and it is to be celebrated. Um and uh I hope all the students know it's just a
start. Um don't look at it as a finish, look at it as a start and you're uh spring forward into a great future that you have coming to you. I want to thank Gabby for her uh service to the board and her students throughout the district. Every every meeting she always did a great job of not only representing
her school, Don Lugo, which is great to see Don Lugo student over there. Um but representing all students, uh she gave a report of every high school, what every high school had going on. It was um very focused on the entire district and not just her world. and uh that is a great representation of the entire voice that
you are representing. So, thank you for for doing such a great job with that. We'll we'll uh miss you and we wish you all the best as you're marching into your future. We know you're going to accomplish great things. I do want to welcome Phoenix. You got big shoes to fill, but you dressed for the occasion. So, it is nice to see that you
came in a in a sharp suit and uh you're up here ready to go. So, I I look forward to having you sit in that seat and and um fulfill the responsibility just as Gabby did. So, nice to have you. Um and then uh lastly, with the recognition, I just want to self selfish selfishly recognize two people in the
military. Since we're doing that, I want to recognize my daughter, her K9, Amma Aman, for serving in the United States Air Force and my nephew currently serving in the uh United States Army. So, I want to thank them for their service and their sacrifice and continue um willingness to protect our country and um make sure that we enjoy the
freedoms that we we all have. And I want to thank the uh numerous students that answered that call as well. Uh this country is what it is because young men and women continue to answer that call to selflessly serve our country and to put themselves in hard ways should it should it be needed to ensure that we
are the land of the free and the home of the brave. And I do want to recognize them and uh on this Memorial Day all those that gave the ultimate sacrifice as it's coming up um to that endeavor. uh their sacrifice is is not forgotten. It is appreciated. Um and it uh is the greatest service that they can give us
as a fellow human beings. I want to recognize them for that. And I have nothing further. Thank you, Mr. Monroe, and thank you for your family's service as well. And Dr. Enfield. All right, Gabby, I want to uh thank you for your your year of service on the the board. you've done an exemplary job and and the board and I
have have talked about you how positive um you've been on this board. Um Mr. Monroe, you know, touched on on the the part of how you came always had a report. Um I always enjoyed listening to your reports and you represented the student in this district phenomenally and again extremely proud of the work that you did. I want to congratulate you
because you're you're finishing you have that next week your graduations and and I wish you the best in your career and whatever you do you will be successful. So again thank you and congratulations Phoenix want to welcome you to the board. We look forward to having you here um and and joining the board and being a part of this and and following
in Gabby's footsteps. So welcome. And then lastly, I want to congratulate all of our seniors who will be graduating uh next week. Uh this is what we do as a unified school district. Kids start here in TK, kinder, preschool, some of them, and they go all the way through our school district, and this is what we we
do. We want to get them across that finish line to graduate and to prepare them for the future. And and so it's an exciting week coming up. And I want to congratulate again all of our seniors for all the hard work and all the years of studying and putting in that work to to get across that finish line and to
graduate from our schools. Again, congratulations to all the seniors. Thank you, Dr. Anfield. And I guess that's my turn. I'll try to hurry up. Gabby, again, I know it's on repeat, but we cannot thank you enough for what you have done this year. You have been amazing. Um, I am so proud of you. anything you need support in the future,
letters of recommendation. I'm sure people are lining up to give it to you. But count me in. Um I will always, you know, cheer you on. Whatever you're going to do, whether it's even running for school board, I would gladly go knock doors with you. But continue to be the bright shining star you are. I know you're going to go out into the world
and do exactly what God intended you. And and again, I am so grateful that I got to spend this year with you. And thank you for all that you've done. And Phoenix, I know you've heard a lot about Gabby and you have some big shoes to fill, but I have no doubt from the minute I met you that you are going to
be another Phoenix shining star. Um, you're going to come up here and be a great leader. I can already tell. Um, so we are excited to have you as well. Um, and and I do want to tell all of our students, we're we're very proud of them. Um, and you know, as a mother, I got a phone call today and I I think it
is a true representation of just the leadership from a teacher, high school teacher, and it wasn't the first time I've gotten a call from a high school teacher and just telling me that my student, my my daughter is one of them. I have two. This time it was my um youngest one that she was great in class. And it was just a true testament
to our district. Like high school, getting a phone call about your child doing great in class, it's not technically typical, but it's happened more than once. Um, so of course I reached out to the principal as a mother in his um, school and I was just like, I'm blown away. But as a board member, I switched gears and I'm like, way to go.
Like this is awesome to for a parent to get a random phone call just saying your kid's doing great because I know the struggles of my child. I know that she has had struggles and she fights like heck and you know she works hard for her grade and for a teacher just to acknowledge that I I think it was pretty
awesome. But it's also a testament to the leadership in our district. So, thank you to our principal and also as a mother of a graduating student at the same school. Um, I'm just excited to sad it's bittersweet to like see my my daughter go off into the next steps of the world, but also excited that she had
this opportunity here and I was able to see her grow. Um, thank you to our security too for being there, you know, through the thick and thin of what our kids go through. Um, our our teachers, her counselor. Um, again, it's just the leadership and and I appreciate it all. I appreciate everybody stepping in and being a really big part of our kids'
lives. Um, and also as well as the graduations. It is going to be fun and exciting next week. We have so many kids graduating and I mean I just am excited about their future. I think when people go throughout, you probably know when you when people hear you're from Chino Valley because that includes Chino and Chino Hills and even our Ontario kids.
It's like a special thing. No, nobody does what Chino Valley does, including our officers. I mean, our security guards. It's just it's just a beautiful place and it's and it's a good representation of what our state should just keep cloning because honestly if we had more chinos we wouldn't be in this um situation and our kids would have
more chances at success. Um with that said, I don't want Patai or Dr. Enfield to cut my mic because they're tired. Um but God bless everybody. I am so proud of everybody who came here and who are taking those steps to serve in our military. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you to your family. Your
prayers are my prayers are with you. And with that said, um, Cruz is asking me to congratulate Marbel. I have no clue what that's about, but congratulations, Marbel. And I will conclude the board of education meeting at 7:56 p.m.
